The day the full game released I played it on Pointdevice mode with almost no sleep, and so I ended up playing really poorly and respawning constantly... so I actually ended up fighting Clownpiece for, um, seven hours straight. Four of them were on Flash and Stripe. Somehow I never got tired of the song, either because ZUN is just that good, or possibly because of Stockholm Syndrome. Anyway, that's one reason why I love this song so much. Thank you for doing this commission! Clownpiece is the best :)
I think it's both, but in a good way. Maybe it's by coincidence or maybe it's intentional, but ZUN tunes really do sound better the more you listen to them. They leave you more eager to face the challenges again, doesn't build up false hope or mock you.

Although I have never play the 15th Touhou game, I have played Thousand Night Anamnesis and have encountered Clownpiece which means I can say that I hate dealing with her spells in general. So, yeah... I have a love-hate relationship with a clown of the Star-Spangled Banner who holds a torch that drives people mad.
