I have replaced hung 5 new doors few years back even one entire jamb what a nightmare it was, cutting doors to size with an electric plainer cutting bottom with circular saw, replaced all new trim then prim & paint, lastly shimming & or adjusting all the new hinges to pull in or out doors to fit the frames, i had to also relocate the strike holes on all jams being thaey did not match new doors so i filled in with wood putty epoxy primed & painted couldnt even tell where old holes was at, i dont think i could do all this work over again it was so much work involved & do not have the patience for it anymore, im just glad i have it all behind me now.

I sure would like to see those strike hole patches you made. That takes real craftsmanship.
