Part 2 of 2 - Battle Across Time
The Doctor, protector of the universe, is about to enter Discovery Island...and wherever he goes, danger follows.
In Battle Across Time the Doctor invites you on board the TARDIS for one extraordinary Adventure. However, a new enemy stands in his way, and will use the Doctor's old enemies against him in order to capture what he truly wants; The TARDIS!
Based on the hit BBC TV series, and part of my Discovery Island video series

Dr. Who ride
I watch this once about every year. Amazing
A nice, long, enjoyable ride, I loved it! The best dark ride in history! My favorite part was the stone angels, gee that scared me! Amazing work Hethetheth, one of my favorite RCT3 creations ever!
You did perfect on this ride. Silence, Weeping Angels, CyberMen, and Daleks...
You chose the right monsters. Good job Whovian.
Oh come on! This is easily the best ride I've ever seen in RCT3. The lighting is perfect, the sound and CS are amazing, the track layout is great. This ride is just perfect! Excellent work!
This was amazing , your best yet and a very imersive ride. Scenery and lighting = over the top - You have really done alot of work to get to this point and it shows!

They should make this at Disney, so when you're waiting in line, one of the rooms is the control room of the Tardis, then the room secretly rotates while the take off sound effects are playing, and when you exit the room, you end up in the station in the year 5 billion. That would be so freaking epic like they really need to make this
I hope they put it in Tomorrowland (Disneyland),UK Pavillion (Epcot), and Discoveryland (Disneyland Paris).
BBC owns doctor who not Disney sadly so that will never happen. Although paramount parks coming to Kent (England) is rumoured to have a doctor who area.
Spiralink YT doubt it unfortunately. Paramount plans show the lands they plan to be in their park and one of them is starfleet academy. With star trek already planned, I don't think paramount will need doctor who when they begin building :(
Joe Snowden they could make a licensing deal for Disney to put a Doctor Who attraction in their parks.
Probably the best ride one could make about Doctor Who. Well done!
Easily one of the best dark rides ever made in RCT3. I'm not just saying that either. From the effects, to the lighting, the scenery, to the buildup and the finale; it was amazing! Just unbelievable! It's so great to see what people can do with this game. So entertaining and I just wish this ride would be real! Can't wait to see what you do next heth! :)
One of the best, if not the best, dark ride I have ever virtually ridden. Oh, and your tutourials have helped me out so much. I am in the process of creating a dark ride.

This rides me of the Indiana jones ride at Disney except cooler because its Doctor who. Great work.
Absolutely postivly AMAZING!! Disney should so hire you as an imagineer! Or Steven Moffat should hire you as a writer for Doctor Who. These videos are the reason I becam a fan of Doctor Who. I waited all summer for this and it was well worth the wait. And in the words of my favorite Doctor, Malto Bene!

this whole discovery series is great i have this game and still struggle to see how you can make such great attractions, settings and atmosphere im surprised your video dont have so much more views!

Nice one Hethetheth! I truly enjoyed it. If this were real, I would definitely travel to wherever this would've been built just to ride it. In fact, I've been working on a storyline for a Doctor Who attraction myself, except in a 3D version of a Circlevision 360 type attraction meant to act as a replacement to the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor attraction at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

Yet again, just cant put words to how this is! it is more than amazing just unexplainable! This really has to made, like seriously need to be made into a real ride! @Hethethethscorchio you have done it yet again!
3) I really like the scenery and especially how well you designed to current Tardis interior. For a second I thought that you might have meant it to be one of the standing rides where you get a video/audio and stuff happens to the room. In fact I still like that concept and wonder if that would make a great ride all by itself, adapting the idea used in Blink where the Doctor is stranded and uses us in a method to get the Tardis back to him to save the day.

The Tardis interior CS is VERY high poly, so much so that it will not work in normal theme parks in RCT3. It has to be recorded in its own park file. Sorry, but it's not for general use. Thanks however for taking such interest in this project :) - best of luck with your rides!
@EuroMIX2 - The actual jump to the ride was something intentionally glossed over for reasons of timing. There WAS a part explaining why you were there, but it added nothing other than explaining something which most people really didn't worry about. The vehicles are TARDIS modules, an extension of the main TARDIS. You are simply exploring this strange space station (why, it's not explained, but since when is any planet explored with reason in the show XD).
Several things (so I may spill into multiple comments):
1) I really like the queue area, no I mean it. You presented the basic aspects about the show well and I loved all the photos you used. I would actually like to know what you wrote on all of those information panels.
2) I like how you tried to have the queue lead into the Tardis itself. I can't help but love that idea and wonder if there would be some mirror/camera trickery that could give that effect in real life.

6) I knew what was coming the moment the Weeping Angels section started. Didn't prevent me from cringing and jumping a little when it did happen though.
that was bloody beautiful, if only it were real you'd provide the ultimate experience.
@liamrocks255 At the moment I'm working with a few other projects: mostly advice, some voice work and a couple of small rides here and there for other projects. My main project is called "Light", which I've done a preview for as well. At the moment I'm just chilling and simply mucking around on RCT3 for funny rather than really working at rides. Doctor Who tired me out rather a bit XD

I'm going to call a design company and tell them they are going to build this right now!
@EuroMIX2 The Scientist can control the TARDIS, and he is sending the Doctor (and the riders) across past adventures in order to build up time energy in the TARDIS in order to power his machine (which it does is ultimately unimportant for the ride, but in the full script it's an interplanetary weapon. Why he picks the Doctor's past adventures is simply to toy with the Doctor, because he's been watchin the Doctor for a long long time. Though much was left unexplained, the full story is written up
You need to send this to Thorpe park in England. Or try and get a meeting. To see it to them. It would be so big for them. And for the uk.
Given that would require:
-co-operation with the license with the BBC
-an enormous budget
I would say it's an unlikely proposal.
Or the UK Pavilion at Epcot.
HS Designs well thorpe park is now making a brand new ride with the largest budget ever used in a merlin park, so this would be incredible to see
I would love if this was a real amusement park. Someone needs to make this happen.
@kylr23 ah, the exterior has been released for about a year....it was made by B2TFKing in 2010, before I even made the ride! I don't remember where, but it might show up on a google search :)

@kylr23 I'm afraid that the Tardis CS (the interior CS by Weber) will not be released, since it is far too high poly to work in park files. I had to put that preshow room in its own park file in order to film it.

To answer the many questions:
This IS version 3
You can make models in sketchup and import them into the game. I advice you google "RCT3 Custom Scenery".
@Hethethethscorchio Oh...I also have an idea for the backwards launch, just for next time. you can create a circle around an area and not need the extra park for that one section. Since the track intersects, then there should be no problem with creating that circle around a scene, and have the launch section propell them while the cart faces the opposite direction...just a thought.

I LOVE THIS RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST RIDE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT ALL OF THAT CS TO HELP ME WITH MY DOCTOR WHO RIDE(once i fix rct3 its jacked up after a custom scenery download:() BUT STILL I

No I can't sorry, it was an exclusive and private release for this ride/park only.
I'm suddenly fuelled with the need to write fan-fiction.

@NHall609 - Well, next year it's my final degree year for Architecture, which means a lot of work for university. I would like to think 'll reduce the amount of RCT3 I play for that year, and then return again in full force later in 2012. However, knowing me, I will probably make a few smaller rides during this time. It's too hard to quit RCT3 altogether, and I still have so many ideas!

Didn't know earlier, don't know now. I'm not trying to be evasive, but I really just don't know, I'm really not someone who would know either.
This would be amazing in the innoventions building at tomorrowland at disneyland.
Maybe the doctor brings clara to disneyland because of her 101 book and lands in tomorrowland.
It's not really up to me, since it's made by Revolutionary Rides. It is my understanding that they do not wish to release it though, since it was personalised to this project. :)
