    Something important is missing here.
When people show up as the militia whether armed or unarmed the militia has more legal power than the police force or military.
The police cannot attempt to arrest the militia with fake trespass violations or possession of forearms because the militia is doing its constitutional duty to protect freedom.
It should be stated now that law enforcement and military should respect the wishes of the entity know as the militia when it shows up armed or unarmed.
Local laws do not apply and arrests to militia to send from the place in question or retaliatory arrest after the fact are just as unconstitutional as the act the militia was trying to defend against.
The militia should be able to point their weapons at potential traitors without ramifications until everything is settled and militia allowed to return to their homes. Any attempts to arrest militia afterwards is unconstitutional and should be met with similar militia action.

We have the duty to point and fire our weapons at all enemies, foreign and domestic, and I stress domestic because the most dangerous enemies are the ones who live in your city, the ones within driving convoy distance, the "progressive" mayor who forces his police to serve red flag orders, the local Sheriff that uses his position under color of law to put fear into his political enemies. Well, at this point we are all cowards, myself included, because *no one* wants to be the first casualty of the coming boogaloo.

Overall pretty fair take. I was his medic in Afghanistan 2010. We did go outside the wire quite a bit (if you google Masa Mute Bala should find a story of one big one). We were on a small COP and lost one guy on Xio Haq and many more since returning. I don’t know what happened with him in recent years in the real world we had remained social media friends until I was forced to “unfriend” him on Aug 30th after months of him trying to find any reason at all to bash police. I enjoy discussing politics, am a strong 2A supporter spent 17 hours waiting in CT legislative office building trying to stop the gun laws they enacted after Sandy Hook. He just seemed to get political around Jan of 2019. I noticed it because it was a darker side of the 2A crowd, calling themselves libertarian but leaning more towards anarchy, very angry, he was staying up late and even in text seemed to be drinking. I told him I almost got sucked into that side of things and to be careful to which he would simply reply with “bootlicker” type insults. He would lose debates on the issues then lash out with personal attacks. Not just insults like name calling or whatnot but truly try to target any perceived emotional weak spots and he seemed to take glee in trying to deeply hurt not only myself but others that pointed out he was incorrect. I’m sure most of us have noticed this type on twitter. I explained to him I had to unfriend him before letting him go that the conversations had become unproductive and bad for both our mental states. I had no idea his issues had or would spill out into the real world in any way I figured he was just venting online. I got a text at 10:30 or so the night of the standoff got back home maybe 11:45 or so and saw many in 2A community acting like he was a folk hero or something when all I could see was a former buddy looking to cover up a screw up and get some attention. Sad situation for him and his family and for both the veteran community and 2A community.

This was more a discussion instead of a debate. I was hoping for more of a devil's advocate approach.

Still waiting on more information. I also worry as a vet he may paint a bad light on the community. Praying this all is just a big miss understanding. However the response in help does make me feel better about my fellow Americans.
