Quite disappointed in the video since I was looking forward to seeing the truck in the picture converted to a camper. Instead I get to watch a typical American truck converted into something I could buy for half of what it probably cost you to build, the readily available slide in pop up truck campers would be better that what you built.
@@PromasterHOF Dude, you sound like a hater. FYI the total build including the truck cost $11500 so let's see you "buy" a complete truck camper for $5750 in total.
Gotta love it. Working with wood, fiberglass, epoxy, metals, caulking and paint. Simple latches work. Well laid out for the intended use. Pop-up roof sensible. Do you think it might be worth the cost of syncing the actuators for smoother operation? Great job guy -- show the kids what can be done when we put our minds to it, and aren't afraid of getting our hands dirty.
Great job showing and doing, hard work that’s what it takes to have what you got there. Is that’s what makes the country great doing things like that. So keep up with the good work, love seeing that stuff done. Well have good one happy camping and I’ll see you on the next video see ya bye.
Hi! Very clever project! What I specially like is your way of light wight construction and your commitment to low cost solutions without pretension of high quality results!
Thank you for the great video, you will have 100’s of critics good and bad you definitely know what you’re doing and you’re project turned out great and I promise you, I bet you inspired someone else to give it a go and live life
MUY BUEN TRABAJO, MADERA Y FIBRA DE VIDRIO CON AISLANTE EN MEDIO. BUENA IDEA. LO HARE EN UNA COMBI. UN ABRAZO Y FELICIDADES. DISFRUTA TU PICKUP -CAMPER.
Привет из России.Я думал, что рукастые и головастые, живут только у нас. Ошибался. Молодец, правильная машина,неплохой кунг, но максимум на 2х взрослых и ребенка.
Great job, there is one thing that wouldn't pass in Australia that I seen and that is the tail lights and number plate were mounted on a 45degree angle down towards the road. Makes them harder to see. We would normally mount these higher like the lights on the camper back panels either side and the number plate on your camper door. Thanks for sharing.
i think this is awesome, wish i had the time to do something similar or a teardrop camper, but that rear bumper pointing downwards drives my ocd batshit, would have made it straight myself, but its still a great build
Cool, overall good work. 1. All nuts need to be nylok. 2. depending on the climate, surface mounted flexible solar panels have a high rate of failure due to entrapped heat. Perhaps, it would have been better to provide an air gap underneath. 3. The slanted rear bumper begs LEO's attention and is perhaps, unsafe and illegal. 4. A sink is ill-advised in this compact space. Use a plastic container.
make sure that when youre traveling at higher speeds tat the watertank is either verry full or allmost empty , as the sloshing of a halffull tank can do som weird thing when trying to steer the car at speed (aspecially with the tank sitting above the wheelaxles ) except for that the camper seems to be verry well thought out and build strong but still light
I NOTICED THAT IT WAS SORT OF A HASSLE TO GET THE TO CAMPER UP AND DOWN YOU SHOULD TRY PUTTING ELECTRIC ACTUATORS ON YOUR CAMPER TOP IT WOULD MAKE YOUR LIFE A LOT EASIER ACTUALLY I SEEN ANOTHER CAMPER GUY USING AND THEY WORKED REALLY WELL IN HIS UNIT AND I THINK WITH YOUR SETUP IT WOULD BE A VERY EASY INSTALLATION CHECK IT OUT I THINK IT WOULD HELP YOU OUT A LOT
Great video . The visuals are plenty enough . The written word is like someone talking over the best parts of a movie . It goes from relaxing and interesting to uncomfortable and annoying .

When u have the truck, time alone, tools, money, leaves anything possible. Truck Camper looks great 👍
With the truck, time alone, tools, money, and resources, anything is possible. A truck camper would be a great addition for adventures.

Un maestro del bricolaje 👏👏👏👏👍. Un solo apunte . Aísla las mangueras de agua bajo el chasis para que no se congelen. Pues se romperán😜

For a 1/2 or 3/4 ton your plywood steel and fiberglass will overload the factory suspension, good technique though .do like the video .
