Sony’s reward program would have been extremely beneficial for me if they applied it to physical games as well. I hardly ever buy games digitally, and most of the points came from that, so it was pretty useless for me.
With MS reward program I redeem points for cards for places like amazon or bestbuy. When a game goes on sale I just slap a ten-fifteen dollar discount to it. Pretty handy but man MS really nerfed how many points you can earn over the past few months. Still though at least it lets me get better physical game prices.

About Xbox and Marvel Vs Capcom 2. Xbox Series X rolled out like a hundred backwards compatible games with features such as Smart Delivery that allowed Xbox One games to automatically play the Series X version. Xbox 360 games such as Castlevania Symphony of the Night were featured in the Microsoft store. After about 1 / 1.5 years of the Series X, Microsoft announced they won't be releasing any more of those types of games. Maybe Marvel Vs Capcom 2 was lumped into that decision. One issue I ran into is for example you can't screenshot in SOTN.

I'm a gamer, and an old one. I started gaming on Atari and I've been playing games since as long I can remembered. I owned most of the consoles at some point. It's weird that I have almost 0 interest in all those old games re-release. There's so many new and interesting games these days that I don't understand why someone would return to a game like, Bubsy for example...? It was a fun game on its original release but that was many many years ago, games are so much better now! Nope, I would never understand the retro gaming world...
Jon, did you actually watch the LRG3 presentation? They said clearly about the Wolfenstein 2, it is a new physical version with all data on the cartridge. On the old you needed to download 9 GB. 🤦♀️

I'm very excited for Tomba 1 and 2 coming to the Switch. Honest to God, I wanted to play those games. But I never got the chance and with the PS1 copies being expensive nowadays, I'm very happy this is happening.
I didn’t see PlayStation logos on Doom or Dragon Age at the Xbox event, even though they are coming to the PlayStation. The reason why is because that was an event held by the console platform holder. They don’t need or want to advertise, at their own event, that their games are also going to be available on their competition’s platform. The difference here is that this was a Limited Run event, not a console holders event. So not seeing a lot of the Xbox logo probably means those games aren’t coming to Xbox, which is most likely why people are talking about it. If I were to guess.
As if your opinions on the matter is in any way relevant. As an investor in Ubisoft over the last decade+, they are still a decently strong asset in my portfolio. For all the so called “boycott”or attempt to boycott from people like you, they seem to be holding up delightfully well and as an investor, I have never been more comfortable with holding Ubisoft. EA and Activision I view in the same light. Lots of “controversy” surrounding them, but as assets and corporations, I haven’t felt more secure in a financial sense.
I feel the opposite about beat'em ups. They aged out and I noticed they still just use pallet swaps enemy units. And how they feel old. Maybe I have missed one that was different or some how interesting? Co op seems to be the only thing for me, but it's still at the bottom of my buy list
The emulator issues seem exaggerated. I played Perfect Dark for like 2 hours last night and really didn’t seem bothered. I think people just expect too much from a 25 year old game.
The description for these last couple of videos have been the same. " With Nintendo set to hold a June presentation, rumors are flying around right now for a Direct to happen this week. Sony is currently dealing with a weird leak that involves a significant number of files from a recent hack."
NSO online retro games connection is very good for everything that's not N64. SNES and Genesis, for example, use rollback netcode and can work pretty well even over terrible quality connections.

I just got a 4K TV and new 1440p monitors and the 1080p Premium setting still doesn't do your videos justice!
Great news wave, thanks!
I still have the GameCube version.
Fear Effect Sedna doesn't exist, it can't hurt you...
Did you actually watch the Limited Run presentation? (Referring to the Wolfenstein segment)
9:50 Baby Bonk’s Adventures
Goldeneye on switch still need some fixing and they did almost nothing 😕
I want Einhander
Heck ya!
I have fond memories of playing Fighting Force and Tomba, so I'll be looking forward to those.
Limited Run announced some cool stuff. If buyers are lucky, they might even get what they pay for eventually.
Well yea. It's not like limited run has a history of taking people's money and not giving them the product when it's done being produced.
When it comes to standard editions, they've actually been shipping them out much sooner than they used to. What used to take around 6 months or longer now takes around 3 or 4 months. More or less.
Absolutely, I don’t understand anyone who keeps buying from them.
I've never had a problem receiving my orders from them. In fact, they've even accidently sent me games i never even ordered on top of the ones I did.
Got the ps3,ps4,xbox360, series x, switch and my raspberry pi hooked up right now. Pc on the side that can play through the tv. My dreamcast, ps2 and wii are in storage. Might be time to consider a museum.
Oh, and i might pick up valis but already got it digitally on switch. (Valis 3 was my first genesis game)
Fighting Force and Tomba 2!? LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
No Tea, No Shade but the RuPaul's Drag Race Fandom is similar as well.
I’m confused where the 2025 release year was mentioned for Shantae Advance, the trailer didn’t mention a year? Anyone know if it’s listed somewhere?
I'm calling it now, Beyond Good and Evil 2 will come out in 2030
The surprise of limited Run is when u get the game you forget you bought it
Still have my wii hooked up ready to go. Trying to finish Eternal Darkness finally.
Thanks for another good one!
Sony Rewards was so good but it had more focus on their movies and other electronics. I've bought many digital cards and a game or two through it but you have to spend a bunch of money to get rewards
I'm very excited for Tomba 1 and 2 coming to the Switch. Honest to God, I wanted to play those games. But I never got the chance and with the PS1 copies being expensive nowadays, I'm very happy this is happening.
Don’t see the Switch logo for 75% of the games shown across summer games fest, State of play and Xbox showcase but that doesn’t get brought up
Expecting to see a Switch logo at another platform's event is wild.
@@jaytd9393well Xbox is third party now and showed plenty of PlayStation stuff but no switch stuff
Ubisoft remember, would like us to get used to not owning our games.

@@cbgg1585 I do what’s right for me, not investors. You’re a leech, a parasite in the industry.
@cbgg1585 you really are an attention seeking kid here talking shares 😂😂
Ubisoft remember, would like us to get used to not playing our games.
I feel the opposite about beat'em ups. They aged out and I noticed they still just use pallet swaps enemy units. And how they feel old. Maybe I have missed one that was different or some how interesting? Co op seems to be the only thing for me, but it's still at the bottom of my buy list
Imagine Nintendo releasing the switch 2 when they open the new Nintendo store in San Francisco.
Might just be me, but lollipop chainsaw does not look like they updated the graphics very much. It looks a little better, but not what I thought they would do to be considered a remake. Still will be picking up though because want to see what they all added but wish they would have given it a better treatment like most developers do with remakes.
I hope a lot of those games go to play Asia I refuse to buy anything from LR they are a crap company!
I have a love/hate with LRG.
I hate the company and their business practices but unfortunately they're the only supplier for certain games I love.
18:48 the first part of the comment is 100% Dreamcast Guy lol
Very good to see Beyond Good and Evil and Lollipop Chainsaw RePop physical but No Hi-Fi Rush tough...
