A very useful feature in our usual summer heatwaves in the UK!! you can press & hold the unlock button & the windows go down before you have to get in so letting out the hot air.
When you get out the car, lock it and are half way up your drive - You suddenly realise that you've left the windows down.... What shall we do?! Okay, so instead of just quickly pressing the lock key on the fob, try holding it for 3-4 seconds, this will then automatically put all open windows into the fully shut and locked position as well as locking the car :)
@@edvinas8621 and Vauxhall does this even on like 96 cars with or without a key fob, just turn the key in the lock and hold it there and the windows go up 🙂
Also - When you enter the car and get in, prior to starting you place your fob in.. Your cars sidelights will come on, if for whatever reason you want your full headlights to come on without starting the engine then simply HOLD the start engine button for a few seconds, this will also allow the heating to work without the engine engaged as well
@@klr142 Nobody is saying otherwise, I assume you can see something I can't in the comment?? The youtuber asked if there was anything else - I'm saying what he didn't
I myself knew about the wipers and their service mode and the folding of the mirrors but no the angling of them, but you can also choose to activate the folding when you lock the car in the vehicle settings menu so that every time you lock it the mirrors fold and when you unlock it they fold back out again
Yes that’s a pretty standard thing and I believe the car will do it without changing anything but it’s worth noting if one gets stuck so you can turn it off so it won’t try to fold back in once you’ve got it folded out.
Found another nice thing by my self. I got automatic, I guess it will work with the manual as well. When reverse are in and you shall do a reverseparking and your sidemirrors are perfect for road but you are not seeing correctly when parking. Then press L or R and each mirror will automatically adjust into parkingmode. Press L or R or put P or D in and the mirrors adjusts to where it was before parking. Neat little trick.
@@Necronomous , it is called something like "mirror tilt" in the menu, it is not that obvious what it does, you can set the function on each mirror separately. The rearview mirrors moving to point down when you put it in reverse is a programmable setting on at least the 2014+ cars. @@vincentchin88 My 2010 got the feature. Just enter the car. Put in the fob, press Start/Stop for 3 seconds so the checklights shows in the console. That means you got your cars electricity on.
