    Thanks for such an amazing tour! We are looking into checking out this property in February and wanted to see some recent videos so this was helpful! How long did you guys stay and how much would you budget per day?

      We are so happy it helped! We stayed for 4 nights and I would say for the 2 of us for drinks & food about $500 per day. That was us eating two larger meals per day and including most of our drinks. However, we did go to the local liquor store to buy drinks halfway while we were there! The dinners at the Bahamar are very expensive however the food is amazing. The drinks are very expensive, but very typical so I would recommend buying some for the room if possible!

    I recently had the misfortune of staying at the SLS Baha Mar in Nassau, and unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I feel compelled to share my disappointing encounter to warn potential visitors of the numerous issues we encountered during our stay.
    **1. Unpleasant Odors and Noise Disturbances:**
    The first red flag was the overpowering stench of marijuana that engulfed the hallways at night. It was not only an inconvenience but also raised concerns about the hotel's ability to enforce a smoke-free environment. Additionally, the incessant noise from pressure washers early in the morning disrupted our sleep, making it nearly impossible to get a decent rest.
    **2. Offensive Decor:**
    I was shocked to find racially insensitive pictures of monkeys dressed in suits displayed within the hotel. Such imagery is not only offensive but completely inappropriate for any establishment, let alone a supposedly upscale one like the SLS Baha Mar. It left a sour taste in my mouth and raised questions about the hotel's commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
    **3. Ruined Wardrobe at the Restaurant:**
    Our dining experience was marred by an unfortunate incident at one of the hotel's restaurants. To our dismay, my mother's $5,000 dress was ruined when an inattentive staff member spilled gravy on her. The lack of accountability and a proper resolution to the situation only added to our frustration.
    **4. Near Death Experience on Unregulated Jetski Ride:**
    Perhaps the most alarming incident occurred during an excursion arranged through the hotel. The unregulated jetski ride turned into a near-death experience, resulting in a trip to the emergency room. The lack of safety measures and oversight raises serious concerns about the hotel's choice of third-party vendors and their commitment to guest safety.
    **5. Unexplained Charges:**
    Upon checking out, we were shocked to discover numerous charges on our bill for services and items we were never made aware of during our stay. The lack of transparency and communication regarding these charges left us feeling exploited and cheated.
    **6. Dated Rooms that Don't Justify the Price:**
    The rooms at the SLS Baha Mar were a major disappointment. For the exorbitant price we paid, we expected a luxurious and well-maintained space. Unfortunately, the rooms were aged, and the overall quality did not meet the standards one would anticipate from a high-end resort.
    In conclusion, our experience at the SLS Baha Mar was an absolute disaster, filled with unpleasant surprises and outright negligence. From offensive decor to safety hazards and unexpected charges, the list of grievances is extensive. It is with great disappointment that I express my vow never to return to the SLS Baha Mar, and I strongly caution others against considering it for their vacation destination.
