It's great to see that beautiful and stylish home decor can be affordable too. I have a random animal 'stench' story too! Miine involved my best friend's VERY expensive perfume and a dead mouse that somehow got into the dishwasher where it was washed and dried - against the heating element. 50+ years ago and I still can't handle that perfume! LOVE YOUR DUPES!!

Nice finds. The ceramic rustic pot from TJ Maxx can still be used as a planter. I have drilled a few small holes in the bottom for drainage with a tile/glass drill bit. Side note: I'm not much for Wal*Mart but think the copper watering can/Better Homes & Gardens subscription might just be a great addition. Ironically, I am also looking for aged terra-cotta pots- matching and three distinct sizes. Wal*Mart seems to have upped their game this year. Thanks for sharing Jenna.

The pot does not have drainage holes because you’re supposed to put a plastic liner pot inside it. That way, the decorative pot serves as a saucer and doesn’t need an additional saucer underneath it. So yes, you can use it for plants. Just use the standard liner pot.

Can you paint a strip of cardboard (maybe black) and glue/stick it over the inside of the holes in the Target tissue box so you can put any coloured box in there? Love your videos!
Love all these great finds! LOL on the smelly lavendar snake story - so true about scents evoking memories, to the good or the bad. I'm now inspired to try a travertine-effect DIY on a ceramic tissue box that I bought years ago at HL - I was debating what affect to go for so hadn't done anything. OMGsh love the little stoneware pitcher - I just spent 1.5 hrs at thrift stores and HL looking for a small vessel to hold a wood dish scrubber on the tray I have the hand soap on at the kitchen sink, I bought a little black stoneware vase, but this pitcher is so perfect I'm going to order it and try that instead,
just in case anyone doesn't know, if you order the copper watering can from walmart online, the price is 2 for $17.97. Not sure if these will come with the one year subscription to better homes and garden tho. i order several and had shipped to my sisters.

it actually does have a drainage hole. Theres a rubber stopper thingy in it when you buy it. Just pull out plug.
