The bit you can't hear is
"There's no one a-who I'd rather do it a-with a-than a-you."
He smooths it together with that joining "a".
“There’s a no one I’d rather do it with than you” is what he says. 😂 Try his ‘68 comeback special.. it’s him, his guitar, his band, all sitting on a stage…Mm Mm Mm . My favorite is Lawdy Miss Clawdy and Trying to Get to You.
"Got a Lot o' Livin' to Do!" is from the 1957 motion picture "Loving You". This was Elvis Presley's first major starring role, following his debut in a supporting role in the 1956 film "Love Me Tender". Other great songs from this movie are "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" "Mean Woman Blues", "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?", "Loving You" etc.
Plus some other gems.
I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am, that you know what a clutch, is!!!
Your Elvis reactions are incomparable. So funny and fun!! Please do more you would like the song King Creole from the movie of the same name, Crawfish, New Orleans, Young Dreams, and Dixieland Rock.❤️❤️❤️
It's a great film. I remember my mum waking me up because they had put this movie on at 11pm and she knew I would have loved it because I always spent all my pocket money on hus records and cassettes. So she made me some hot chocolate and we sat and watched it together. It blew me away!
Brilliant memory. (Thanks mum). ❤
Mean woman Blues is an amazing song/scene from the moving Loving You. He did 31 feature movies. Every one is fantastic of course.
You can watch his singing and dancing Mean Woman Blues from the same movie, Loving You filmed in 1957 when he was 21 yrs old. It’s a good one and there is a fight scene.
Just be sure to watch the full scene. There 2 different videos. You want to watch the full sc6.
Young Elvis makes me feel young too!❤❤❤
He said "There's no one who I'd rather do it with than you"
Check out the live version of "Polk Salad Annie" if you want to see him dance. Or " Rock A Hula" from the movie Blue Hawaii.
Great reaction. True about the words. In 1970 before Elvis' Las Vegas engagement he reads a telegram from RCA in his dressing room, which says something to the effect of "we're just starting to understand what you say on record." :)
He said "And there's noone who I"d rather do it with than you".
He’s saying: “…and there’s no one who I’d rather do it with than you”
That chubby little dude with the black hat who tells them to start some "boogie-woogie" was Skip Young. He was *hilarious,* he later starred in the cast with Rick Nelson on the Ozzie & Harriet TV sitcom.
That hoobaduba or whatever is his trade mark! One of his trade marks!😃 Someone says that and they know you’re talking about Elvis!
Elvis always the best. Love this movie
5:08 is "and there is no one who I'd rather do it witha than u!" 😭😂!My mom used to be a member of a Elvis fan club, used to collect posters photos lyrics etc. every weekend is like Elvis/ Jim reeves/ Humperdinck weekend at our house. I know most of lyrics because she always singalong🥲
I HEAR YOU IMAGINE IF THEY LET HIM GO AND DO HIS OWN SELF EXPRESSION..LIKE THEY DO TODAY!!! HE WANTED TO BE A SERIOUS ACTOR.
WHEN HE CAME BACK FROM THE SERVICE THEY THRU THE BOY CHASING GIRL THING AT THE STORY LINE... BUT WALKED RIGHT THRU IT. IMAGINE IF HE DIDN'T HAVE THAT SEVEN YEAR CONTRACT. HE WOULD OF GROWN BIGGER THAN HE DID. THEY JUST PUT HIM A CLOSET,
SO MORE HE COULD EXPLORE...BUT AT THE END HE DID ALL HE COULD AND WE LOVE HIM TODAY AND ALWAYS. LOVE ALL HIS SONGS BUT THE SOLITAIRE SONG ELVIS RELATED TO ALOT ABOUT HIMSELF. 😢❤
Although Elvis died four years before I was born, I love his movies, I grew up watching them with my mom.
Very nice to hear Michelle. Thank you very much for your comment. I discovered who Elvis was and first heard him 'when' he died. My favourite movie is 'Spinout.' Not only is it ever so funny, but All the songs are really great, and the soundtrack album had 3 'also great' Bonus songs included. Hope you enjoy!😀♥
I have to tell you I laughed so hard when you made the comments about there always being a part in Elvis songs where he sings something “fire” but you can’t understand it-your imitation cracked me up!!! I was laughing so hard I was crying. 😂
I love your reactions to Elvis! He is so good, even when you can’t understand him-his voice is so versatile and amazing.
It’s Elvis’s Tennessee accent
Thank you for doing Elvis!!! The last sentence is what he does when you can’t understand him!!
the lady with the purse is the band's owner. she hires Elvis to sing for her after hearing him sing/
Suspicious minds 1970 Vegas, mean woman blues, patch it up 1970 Vegas, hound dog Milton Bearle show, heartbreak hotel. So many
If you want to see fire, watch him live. 68 come back special or Live from Hawaii. Suspicious minds, you'll see him move and his sense of humor.
5:32 "and there's no one ah I rather do it with ah than you".
And there's (a) no one (a)who I'd rather do it with(a) than (a) you
Wow I love the movie Loving You. Please do more ELVIS
Dixieland Rock from King Creole, Mean Woman from Loving You, Bossa Nova from Fun In Acapulco, Return To Sender from Girls Girls Girls, Clambake from Clambake. This list goes on and on! Try those on.
In that part, he's basically singing "There's no one who I'd rather do it with than you." Been listening to Elvis for 51+ years, so...yeah. 😂🤣😂
LOL He is singing:
"And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you"
This is Loving You
He's saying, " there's no one who I'd rather do it with than you ".. He's saying it fast, but if you listen closely, that's it .
Thank you
Thanks for this, my mom left me 1 year ago tomorrow, she was a crazy fan, she went to Graceland twice she had all kinds of stuffed animals pillows every obvious thing you can imagine I haven’t been able to listen to him until today
🤗
@@catwhisperer9489 ❤️💔🤗
@@darlenecronin242 👍
Aww, that's so sweet! Your mom would be so proud of you!
at the end of this movie, Elvis sings this song again, his mother is in the audience wearing a blue dress
Haha love your reaction you need to see the middle and end of this film for Elvis moves
Loving you,is the movie his second movie 👏👊👍✌👌🔥❤🙏
He is saying “and there’s no one I’d rather do it with than you”’
Milton Berle comment Continued - that Performance of "Hound Dog" is what made him "controversial".
Early Elvis, what a doll what a sexy man. I was 11 in the 50's and my dad would not let me watch him. They said he did devil music. Ha. I have all his movies and all his records and I will still watch people react to him for the first time. I saw all his movies in the theater. I have been in fan clubs too. Now that I am 78 I still love him just as much as ever. Thanks for reacting to Elvis magic. Be Blessed.
Yes, you do need to watch this movie. There are a lot of songs you'd like in this movie.
I just rewatched your reaction to the first trailer for the Elvis movie that's coming out June 24th. I'd love to see you react to the second trailer too that came out a couple of weeks ago. Your reaction to the first one was priceless!
As for songs Elvis sang in his movies you should check out "Crawfish" & "Trouble" both from "King Creole", one of his 50's films. Then jump ahead to his '68 Comeback Special where he sang "Trouble" again & compare. Both versions are great & you can see how he (& his voice) matured.
💙☮
Please play "Suspicious Minds".... Los Vegas show....🕺🕺🕺♥️♥️♥️
"And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you"
You have got to react to "If I Can Dream" from his 1968 comeback special. It was when he returned from his time being enlisted. Greatest song ever written by the greatest singer that ever lived!
If you want to watch any of his movies they all come on Jan 8 for a full day of all his movies I think if they even still show them anymore
Just loving your reactions, you cracked me up, Thanks for sharing! Try " Bosnia Nova " movie clip, I know you'll like it!
Your reaction is so funny especially about the purse 😅 love EP he was such a sweet soul and and yes this is from a movie 🔥😊
Love Elvis forever 💜❤️❤️
Love your reaction! This a great song from the movie Loving You. There are a bunch of good songs in the movie. Check out Jailhouse Rock and King Creole for some awesome songs and acting!
You really need to listen to if I can dream.from.the 68 come.back special.
Listen to trying to get to you from his 68 comeback tour. There are lots of other good songs on that too! He wore a leather jumpsuit! Thank you I'm a new subscriber and love your reactions!
I love love love me some Elvis
Watch the Milton Berle Performance of "Hound Dog" . It's THEE Performance that
If you want a faster pace try Elvis singing Rubberneckin..the remix is fire!
Also, hard-headed woman. From some of the really early stuff, but it's such a great recording and his band was so good and it's at least half rockabilly. But it got real popular real fast. It's so kinetic and I just love the energy of it including every instrument in the band and backing vocals and that kind of thing. The whole thing is just amazing for an audio recording.
He said he dont know what he would do without you
Here's a gift for you. This is the only way I know to get it to you. I hope you enjoy this movie. I have all his movies but this is the only one I found on TH-cam.
Little Sister is more in the vein of Jailhouse Rock. It’s my favorite
He's saying "and there's no one I'd rather do it with then you"
Loving you was my first and favorite album. Must of the songs on that album are really good but you rarely hear them. He had better songs in his early movies than later movies.
He’s saying there’s no one I’d rather do it with then you.
Listen to “You ain’t nothing’ but a hound dog”!!!
Love your Elvis reactions! Same movie same song but with more Elvis action: ELVIS PRESLEY - Got A Lot O' Livin' To Do (Final) New Edit 4K (1:55). A couple more I think you'll like: ELVIS PRESLEY What'd I say (4:13) and ELVIS Patch It Up (the version that says [Fantastic Finish]) (4:00).
He plays this character Deek Rivers in the movie "Loving You" but when you pause it at 3:35 near his right shoulder as hes playing, it saids "Elvis" on top of the building LOL
@@DwainHathaway Wow! I bet no woman has ever noticed that. Our eyes tend not to leave Elvis.
Speedway was a great movie. It co-starred Nancy Sinatra and Bill Bixby. His last movie was a Change of habit with Mary Tyler Moore and Barbara Mcnair
Your reactions are just the best!!! Lol.
You also have a nice voice man….
youre so entertaining lol... i do have a preference for Elvis reactions, but you make anything youre reacting to enjoyable.. thx for the reaction.
The movie comes out next month. Austin Butler's playing Elvis in it. It's a biopic called Elvis.
“Bossa Nova Baby”
He’s singing…And there ‘s a no one who I’d rather do it with than you
😂 that was hilarious
The movie has a scene with his Mother and Father in the audience
You need to checkout the song in the ghetto by elvis
You should listen to HIS version of, "You've Lost That Loving Feeling", by the Righteous Brothers 😁🥰👏 You will not be disappointed!
The movie is called Loving You
Yep Live a little, Love a little is the movie
Elvis ‘s second film….His first feature movie
Please watch community black eccept Elvis, know the man how good he was with people around him, still love n miss him all this years😭😭😭😭😭😭
New Country.... 3 beautiful black ladies. Chapel Hart. You can have him Jolene. Please play
You may like rubbernecking from the movie change of habit or clean up your own backyard from the movie trouble with girls
You should listen to Elvis' Burning 🔥 Love
Elvis has done around 30 movies and rumor was that he had an affair with every one of his leading ladies except Mary Tyler Moore in change of habit.
As far as songs with the upbeat tempo, suspicious minds and viva las Vegas are great. His rendition of Frank Sinatras My Way is off the charts!
Agree, his rendition of "My Way" is off the charts.
But (a little correction) it isn't Frank Sinatras "My Way".
he is saying something this song is on youtube with the lyrics check it out....
Another Awesome reaction my man 💪
You should do some live performances. His movies can be “cheesy”.
m.th-cam.com/video/NvapU3P9Xf8/w-d-xo.html
Somebody below mentioned rubbernecking to check out him in a fast-paced vocal delivery and that is a great one, but I would also say this one for sure. It's half rockabilly at least but the band is so tight and the production on it is reasonably good but it's still pretty early on in his career. I think it's from the movie King Creole but I'm mostly have heard this audio recording that became a charting hit at some point. It's fantastic. So much energy. A lot of tongue and cheek humor.
You have the wrong got a lot of living to do in the movie..
It's the very last scene when he sings it is the one you are looking for
See King Creole..if you haven’t already
Loving You is the best. Wait till you see him sing “I Got A Women”. You will lose it.
There’s a better one of this when he’s on stage when he’s got some dance moves in it.
No one I wanna do It with out you
Pick a movie. He was in 31 movies. 🤣
I alwas thought I'm the only one that doesn't understand what he's saying because English isn't my native language and I'm just not good enough. 🤣🤣 Does anybody know what he's actually singing? Is it a Southern American dialect?
"Got A Lot O' Livin' to Do"
By Elvis Presley
Oh yes I've got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make it fun it takes two
Oh yes I've got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you
There's a moon that's big and bright in the milky way tonight
But the way you act you never would know it's there
So baby, time's a wasting
A lot of kisses I ain't been tasting
I don't know about you but I'm gonna get my share
Oh got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make it fun it takes two
Oh yes I've got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you
There's a balmy little breeze
That's whistling through the trees
And it's telling you to pitch a little woo with me
Why don't you take a listen
You'll never know what you've been missing
Cuddle up a little closer and be my little honey bee
Oh got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make it fun it takes two
Oh yes I've got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you
You're the prettiest thing I've seen
But you treat me so doggone mean
Ain't you got no heart, I'm dying to hold you near
Why do you keep me waiting
Why don't you start co-operating
And the things I say are things you want to hear
Oh got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
Come on baby, to make it fun it takes two
Oh yes I've got a lot o' living to do
A whole lot o' loving to do
And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you
@@catwhisperer9489 Thank you. Btw., I like your name. 😊
@@Lamm139: Thankyou!! ❤️
Elvis I felt was a natural as an actor. His earlier movies had more substance and showed the possibilities. Too bad he listened to Col. Parker and ended up in a string of fluffs in the mid to late 60's, though while some of them were fun to watch, some of them were downright cheesy and did him no good.
The only movie I like better is G I Blues
Elvis did Not like the expression Elvis the pelvis He said it was the most childish expression He ever heard and if your a true Elvis fan you will never use this expression please stop saying this it hurts Elvis and it hurts me
Elvis was low key mumble rapping
I can't stand most Elvis tunes. Good Lord, he is annoying when he uses vibrato. It's like, hey, Elvis, get off of that Jack Hammer. Anyway, show Fats Domino some love. He is my fav from the 50s. Be My Guest, What a Party, I'm Walkin', Blueberry Hill. C'mon Man! also The Coasters Yakety Yak. Louis Jordan Choo Choo Cha-Boogie. The Black artists of the 50s are the best. Good stuff!
