Hi Bro, ive got 2014 Pajero sport RV meter, i retrofited it to my Pajero sport base model, everytime i plug the RV meter, the check engine will appear and the automatic gear shifting is not smooth specially from 1st gear to 2nd gear,
hello friend.... two fuses protec de RV unit #4 fuse in J/B Juction Box in the passengers room, you can see the fuse box when you open the drivers door. And the #8 fuse in the main fuse box (UNderHood) send current to the RV meter.
Hi You have to check the temp sensor wires. It’s located inside the front grille. Have to remove the shell and you can see a black sensor in front of the a/c condenser. Check the wiring, nothing happens then replace the sensor
@@drivenbuild3806 Thanks i found it and tested with multimeter and its okay, tried again to rebooth even my compass can't set it up tried 5 times rounding slowly but still no response on both compass and Temperature. pls help. thanks
@@markperez6438 Hi, If the resistance of sensor meets the factory specs then the fault is in the e meter. Importantly if you can’t set the compass then the fault is in the RV meter. Try disconnecting your battery and leave it for 15 minutes and then do the calibration. Or check the RV meter wire socket. You can unplug and plug it gently. Let me know this helps.
I restored my display using that film from an old laptop, the display uses polarized film, you take a piece of that film and rotates it until you see the best image and later put some vinil film to attach it to the unit.

Yes, but what do type of a rv meter are you having now ? this is just plug and play type. In this model you’ll get the wheel speed as an extra option which mmc sold for limited vehicles.
@@drivenbuild3806 mine have the touch screen(?) MMC (multimedia center) its broken and in japanese. Dont have the chance to take it out and check part number yet.

No this doesn’t have that function. Actually that comes only for few variants.

The plastic facing of my RV Meter has crystallized and fallen out. As such I am unable to read the display. What do you recommend as a solution ?
You can use polarized glasses. I’ve restored this using a 6$ glass from ebay.

I think you’re having a jdm version. First you have to remove the front facia and find the wiring socket. If it matches then there wont be a problem.
