Dear professor Haber, the video is very interesting. I was wondering if it is possible to get a sort of list of which "thoughts" can be intercepted/catched by using this kind of technology. Thanks in advance.
I am not sure how to answer this question. I did not have time to continue with this interesting research. We were able to detect attention, being focused on something, and some other states as EEG signals. It is an open field of research.
In principle, this is possible. You just have to properly classify the EEG data and to decide what commands should correspond to which actions. We have developed in interface for Open-BCI-Arduino via MATLAB. You can develop a similar interface for C/C++ or Python. Best, A. Haber
The reason why eeg headsets are so expensive is because they require gold to tune in to the brain waves. Good luck finding something cheap @@Good2Deluded

Hello, Simply awesome!
Could you please provide the details on the cost of the equipment used? thanks!
OpenBCI headset is around $3000. That is all you need to start with playing with EEG.
@@aleksandarhaber : Almost all basic features can be achieved by a Muse 2 or a Neuro sky headset which costs around $200.
