About the Elf Halo Glow Filter and its characteristics, it is true that there are differences between hydrating and moisturizing. Hydrators provide water to the skin, which helps it look fresh and youthful, while humectants or moisturizers contains oils, which help retain water in the skin so that it does not evaporate, so the ideal is to use both hydrating and moisturizing in a skincare routine.
I honestly feel like the glowey rare beauty primer is very similar to saie. I also have the Chanel illuminator which I adore! It’s subtle but soooo pretty
Great round up! I really love my VB/Augustus bader in the moisturizer/primer in gold or whatever the golden color is. It’s a moisturizer! It’s a primer! Its not oily at all, but moisturizing. It’s glowy without sparkle Or mica.
The skin tints and highlighting fluids are my favourite. I just bought the ELF halo Glow and am loving it, I like it more than the charlotte tilbury one which is always sold out in my shade
Oh, and I would love to see your ranking on favorite lipsticks of all time! Also, I would love for you to compare Tom ford, guerlain, Chanel, Cle de peau etc eye quads
As a lover of glow, this has been SO helpful and going straight to my saved vids. Sofia, you are just the best! 🥰 I adore the HFF, but I'd still try more 😅 esp the Chanel fluid and glow lust. The poor availability of a lot of releases in Poland puts a stop on my shopping compulsion... not to mention my student wallet 🥲💔 Sending lots of love! Cannot wait for future uploads, the VBB full face, eyeliner roundup... 😁❤ Sophie x
What a great video!! I love it! I tried the Charlotte tilbury few years ago, and I always forgot to use it 😅 same with the Lisa Eldridge glowing something .. The Chanel looks stunning! I will definitely put it on my wish list 🤩
Hey Sofia! Have you tried Byterry’s serums? I love colors 2, 2.25, 2.5, and 2.75 for my fair skin. And then the sunny flash, which is color 4 is like a dupe for drunk elephants bronze glow, but better! I also love Armani’s fluid sheer, no 2&7.
Thank you for all those wear-tests and comparisons; and providing guidance on what to try. My suggestion for a video would be to compare newly launched concealers to your existing HGs. Looking forward to your next video!
yes! wear test so important... so many glowy products don't last... it would be nice to see what's the longest lasting glow, what products are humidity proof, waterproof....
Just a little heads up……Moisturiser and hydrator are different things altho a moisturiser can hydrate to a degree….hydrators are usually quite watery e.g. Squalane oil, Matrixyl, and others similar. They also do other things possibly containing peptides but will hydrate skin beautifully….it is possible to have moisturised skin and still have dehydrated skin…
I like the combination of channel with its les beige foundation , they look so beautiful together. There is one brand Iconic which is not pricey and its finish is like channel. You also answered my question of what is it about charlotte tillbury😊
i wish i had suggested Isamaya’s formula and Athr Beauty’s oils (especially desert sky) bc i wonder how Isamaya’s would compare to ND, and Athr bc that shade is a duochrome oil haha! there’s another that’s more bronzy as well and fair. this review was epic tho tysm!! i had been waiting forever to try Auric and then impulse bought Saie. from your review i will like it nonetheless but i’d still love to try Auric, Elf and ND or Isamaya. maaaybe Athr too in the future. hahaha!! my skin definitely gets drier in the winter so the more hydrating formulas then might be a nice treat 😊 i’m so happy i found your channel, your reviews are some of the absolute best!!! 🎉❤ i will think of some new topic suggestions and get back to you 🥰
@@SofiaSeesBeauty totally understandable, it does! i’ll have to choose btw. tempted to try Isamaya first bc she’s a smaller brand and ltd releases but the duochrome/finish of ND’s formula looks stunning. i do know Kevin James Bennett said the ingredients in Skinglass was better but the oil is a totally different effect. round two will be epic as well 😂 i’m so glad you like Auric and most of the others! x
Moisturize and hydrate the skin are different. A moisturizer is an ingredient that creates a layer in the skin to prevent water from getting out and a hydrating ingredient provides water. Most of the “skincare” sold at Sephora is just marketing specially for all those makeup products. I recommend the channel of the dermatologist Dr Dray. She’s amazing and basically tells you how less is more and you only need cerave/ cetaphil and not waste your money on “magic” creams that are hundreds of dollars. They just want your money!!!
@@SofiaSeesBeauty this is what confuses me bc sometimes high end facial oils are instructed as first layer but then how does the water-based stuff penetrate after? time for me to watch more Dr Dray lol

I have been searching related topics in last one week, I think my search is over. Thanks for the thorough review.
Excellent review of these types of products! Thank you for taking the time to provide. Very informative!!
You are so welcome Doria!
Saie is my absolute favorite - price point, light weight gel like, gorgeous subtle glow and skin care all in one.
I honestly feel like the glowey rare beauty primer is very similar to saie. I also have the Chanel illuminator which I adore! It’s subtle but soooo pretty
The Chanel is so good! I will have to swatch the Rare Beauty one next time I am in Sephora
Wow, this review is so complete and well done. Thanks a lot.
My pleasure! I am so glad you enjoyed
Great round up!

That one looks really good. I heard that Augustus Bader has a cult following
Love it also!

I have been wearing the ELF one a lot! It has a very lovely creamy texture

Loooved this❣️ it was exactly the review I was looking for😍😍 Thank you❣️❣️
I'm so glad!

I was the same way with the Charlotte Tilbury. And now I have gotten into these products more since they are so good at blurring
Awesome comparisons thank you !! your skin looks INCREDIBLE btw :)
Thank you so much! 🤗

Wearing the SAIE luminizer today. I like to wear it by itself on minimal makeup days. I have normal to dry, mature skin. It just looks fresh on me.
"Fresh" is a great word to describe it 👌
starglow?? i want to buy flawless filter but its sold out should i get this instead or elf halo glow?
@@humnarehman4711 the Saie product isn’t going to give you the same effect. I’m sure all these brands will be restocking soon for holiday

Really great review! Thank you for all your hard work. I really appreciate it. Gonna pick up the Elf to try. 😊
I’m so glad it was helpful! 🤩 yay you will love it

Yes let me know what you would like to see next! I decided not to get the Isamaya one because it did look SO similar to the ND

Thank you a very helpful review.
You're welcome!
Excellent review
Thank you!!
I wish you talked about the Forever Dior star filter multi-use complexion enhancing booster. I wish I can have a comparison
4:24 caliray Just Add Rays Universal Translucent Glow Booster: Mix it with a skin tint or primer and smooth it on with fingers.
Liquid Bronzers, Please.
Saie or charlotte tilbury?
what great reviews...
Thank you!!
How about the Chantecaille Rose Face tint ? For mature skin?
I haven’t tried that one! I decided not to get it because it was so expensive
What do you use on your eyebrows?
I use a combo of the Kosas brow pop + the Glossier brow flick. I like them to be very precise haha
FIRST! 🤩
Hahaha 🙌
Where is Mac strobing???
auric is the best...i use selenite too and the moonstone (the lighter one) as a highlight
Love it!

Dr Dray is one of my faves! I was thinking "occlusive" is the term for holding in water?

Dewy makeup makes me look old and haggard.
😊👍👍
