2 Tesla Minutes are different than regular minutes 😂. I know that feeling! Great video! Video idea: you should do a video comparing timeslips of when you run in dragstrip mode vs plaid mode. Potentially all the different modes! That would be pretty koo! Great video and thumbs up to you
Sure thing! When I run the quarter mile track, I only get 3 runs in a night if I'm lucky. There is always an insane line. Though I like the quarter mile very much, I tend to run the 1/8th at another track more often...mostly because the lines aren't long at all. I can run 4-5 passes and test something like this out easily on the 1/8mi drag strip.
Some nights that's true. It's hard to find 6 second 1/8mile and 9 second quarter mile cars sometimes. That makes me think back to some of the races I've posted here on my channel, and appreciate the really cool, close races I've had with the Plaid. Those cars are all 800-1000hp!
Very much so! The 1/4 mile track seems to consistently produce 6.0 sec 1/8mile numbers for me, yet the 1/8 mile track where I filmed this video doesn't have as good prep, and the numbers seem to be 6,2-6.4sec.
Two comments here... 1. I previously had a Model 3 performance Tesla that had a 0-60 time of 3.1sec, and that wasn't enough power to spin on this track, so the traction issue really came in now that I'm north of 1000hp, which not as many cars have. 2. It's hard to consider me a "Tesla Boi", as I probably burn more gas with my other vehicles and boats than most people watching my videos. I'm not a purist, and my Tesla is not my only vehicle. It's just my only EV, but it is my fastest vehicle...which is fun to drive.

Always great videos 👍
Thank you.
Plaid has No competition!

So…. Trouble with traction??

The non stop complaining is not a good look, everyone else is under the same conditions.
hes faster meaning he has a higher risk to spin out and crash hence hes being aware about the traction
He's a Tesla boi... that's what they do.
