  • I decided to play this because I forgot to play it after beating haha, and I’ve got to say that this level is really good and I have no idea why it isn’t rated. I really think robtop is doing wonduu dirty with haha, currently one of my favourite levels in the game, and this level both being unrated.
The structuring in this level is EXTREMELY good, especially the slope and block mixing past 39. I also really like the colour usage and pulses throughout the level. I think the background from 8 - 39 is really cool and it reminds me of the backgrounds in Acu. The background transition at 39 is a little weird though since the objects transition in and out smoothly while the colour change to grey is instant. Before the last section of the level, I think the impossible triangle that appears at 70% is a very strange addition but something that I think is really underrated is restricting visibility, and I think it’s done really well in the last section, especially with the song when it quiets down. I feel like the level fits the song really well with the playful yet somber vibe I get, and I think it was an excellent song choice for a level.
As for the gameplay, I think it’s pretty good but a little unbalanced in some areas, especially the red orbs in the ship from 26-27. The ball felt kinda janky but I didn’t mind it. I had a really easy time learning the entire level but I died at the end a lot because I’m bad. My favourite part to play was either the ship and ufo part from 8-32 even though it gave me Want Me PTSD, or the ending section which felt really clean. I beat this in a single 1-hour long session which I literally never do, so I think this is closer to hard demon than insane demon.
It’s really cool to go back to wonduu’s first notable level and see how he progressed as a creator. I’m glad I played this, it was a really nice experience :)
Difficulty - High Hard Demon (currently unrated)
Attempts - 743 (no copyable for once)
Song - Nice Boys by Temporex
