Thanks so much, lovely city to explore as you know. Lot's of history, lots of character, but not a lot of tourists from outside Spain.
Thanks for taking the time to comment,
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis

      Chris,
Now that's interesting, where are you?
Back in 2009 started a road trip from Bilbao and headed north through France, first destination was Saint-Jean-de-Luz, but we also took a look at Biarritz, Bayonne and a check of the south.
We plan to get an EV in 2024, and another French road trip is on the cards, but I'm not sure where we'll be headed yet, but as you can tell we love a road trip.
As always thanks for the comment,
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis

@@OurWorldForYou we’re in Gironde close to borders with Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne about 60km east of Bordeaux and 20km west of Bergerac
Wine growing area with St Emillion, Pomerel and Monbazillac all quite close

      Hi Chris,
      Ahhh, hence the username.
I think we wandered around the region in that 2009 road trip, and certainly know we went to Saint-Émilion. The whole area is just so beautiful; hopefully, you're enjoying life there.
      All the best,
      Gary & Janis
