The work of Makoto Shinkai is so jawbreakingly fantastic. The two of them sharing that moment of flourishing emotion and connection against the brutalist nature of that building always sends shivers down my spine. And as the camera pans left to reveal that gorgeous horizon with the beaming sun is the cherry on top. He is one of the creators you point to to absolutely destroy a persons claim that anime has nothing of value to offer. what an incredible movie it was. and this amv? i haven't seen much in the way of perfection in my life, but this comes pretty damn close.
Listening to this song, headphones in, and just walking around the world - watching it dance in front of you. Notice the tiny waves in the puddles as it rains. Notice the millions of lives passing you every second as you explore the busy streets. Notice it all and you will see it's all life itself dancing and when I listen to this song it really does ground me in presence. So thank you for this masterpiece.
Thank you for appreciating my other music aside from my main Retro! I'm glad this content isn't going unnoticed. I've put a lot of passion into these tracks and go under the radar most of the time.

Guess that goes to show how subjective music tatse but i cant help but think they are truely missing out on an entire experience that this music somehow produces. I hope we get to see more of this someday in the near future.
