Its because colleges are vulnerable. They can be a waist of money if you do not carefully plan. If you mess up you can be left holding the bag for debt you never can get away from since you cannot discharge it in bankruptcy. While i would not say its an out right scam it can effectively function as one if you are not very careful.

I believe she is butthurt that she does not have a proper education ( not that it is necessarily a bad thing but i think she feels that way) and she thinks ohh “I did not even go to college and I make more money than you suckers” yes right but at what cost barbara??? all 800 people in your downline have to lose so that you can win. that is called a scam🤧
I would also like to say that anger is routed in fear, and it is coming off STRONGLY in this video. Imagine having a team of over 800 people and still feeling THIS insecure in your business.
She's not wearing a wedding ring. I know that sounds awful, but it's all I can see as she screeches about all the things her husband can't afford and flails her hands around.
Well I’m engaged and don’t have a ring. He proposed with a ring pop (I told him to do that if he wanted to marry me) so that way we can go together when money is right to get our rings.
@@eminic953 I love this! My partner and I are putting off getting married because finding a house is a higher priority; and both houses and wedding are expensive. We're going on 7 years, no ring, but still just as serious as an engagement. You don't need to buy into social norms like engagement rings/wedding rings in order to know that you're serious. Money is tight, and you gotta do what's best for you!
@@iliveforzelda exactly. The engagement photos are awesome too. He found the biggest ring pop he could. It’s literally a wrist pop bc it’s so big🤣 and when I told my family we were engaged everyone was like “where’s your ring?” And I told them about the ring pop and they looked at me like i was crazy “what woman doesn’t want diamonds?” & I told them that I’m not money hungry and the ring is just a symbol if I never get a ring I will still be happy because I love him… you don’t have to have a ring to be married or engaged and so many people think that you NEED a ring to show your love for someone. And exactly houses are more important as are vehicles so that we can go to work. We are saving up to get him a diesel truck so he can start a hauling business. I think by doing this I’ve shown people that there are other ways to do things that don’t involve following the “norm”. Wish you the best on finding your house! And congrats on going on 7 years with your partner!! Love to hear that we’re not the only ones who are doing the whole marriage thing differently than others. & I’ve told him that I’m fine with a small wedding. We don’t even have to have a ceremony if we don’t want to spend all the money on it. Im perfectly fine with going to the court house and spending $30 to get married and have a reception afterwards 🤷🏼♀️☺️
I can’t think of a single reputable job where someone has to spend SO much time defending what they do. If you have to make such lengthy ranting social posts, it should be a huge red flag that something isn’t right. I always wonder if they think these long angry rants are enticing people to sign up instead of running people off? 🤦🏼♀️ I’m thoroughly enjoying your catalog of videos!
This lady absolutely got one of those tacky wine glasses that holds an entire bottle of wine, filled it twice, went scrolling through anti-mlm Facebook groups and then sat down and filmed this incoherent, insulting mess. There is no other possible story lol
There are 2 times in my life I remember being so full of rage; when I was on norco for my broken leg and when I got covid from my brother in 2020. Either way, there seems like there needs to be some kind of influence.
I don't care if it's a legitimate job opportunity, if someone speaks to me in that horrible condescending tone then there's no way I'm working with them. I'd tell them to kick rocks.
I can imagine her whole family running for cover when mommy goes on an angry tangent again. I know people like this. I’m sure it’s tough being in that house.
I know her and I know MOST of her down line. We all live in the same town and went to school together. A lot of her down line DOES want to be at the top and they’ve worked incredibly hard to try and get there and have not been able to make it and have struggled really bad. So she’s not being truthful. This is so sad
I did cry a few months ago when I made my first $1000 from only working making Skyrim mods. I put in so much work coding, and learning, and it was SO EXCITING to see that there were over 1000 people who thought my mod was good enough that they had to have it. 1000 people who saw my little mod and thought "oh neat I could really use this!". I'm living my best life, and I'm so happy with myself, but I also don't... ya' know... try to scam people into also making Skyrim mods. I do actual hard work, and I'm slowly getting results! The mod I just made has real potential to replace Ars Metallica (the most popular skyrim crafting mod, with 1.7 million downloads). My little mod has the chance to completely replace a mod that 1.7 MILLION people find as a must have!
Wow, Brooke. Tell me you're bitter without telling me you're bitter. Someone is afraid her "business" is going to crumble! Yay for the anti-mlm movement! Woooo!
I’ve gone done a rabbit hole watching your back catalog. Absolutely love your videos! The wildest thing to me watching these back to back is that their jobs are to network and sell, but so many of these women come off as unlikeable and condescending. It’s a strange sales/recruiting tactic. It’s very sad to see how deep into the cult they are.
i've cried over making 1,000 in a month i'm an independent, self employed artist selling on etsy, and i'm working on growing my business as a disabled person, it's kinda my only option i'm almost at the point where it's a full time income, and i feel good about it because i'm not taking advantage of anyone and my success actually IS dependant entirely on my own work (plus the etsy search functions and stuff, but that's not an actual person) i make my product and sell my product, i price items fairly so that i earn what i deserve, it pays the fees like listing fees and shipping costs, and i'm not massively overcharging for everything i sell so i'm not taking advantage of my customers
This is probably unintentional, but I love that you’re wearing a red shirt with how much she’s bringing up the metaphor of “anti-MLMers calling her green shirt red” 😂
Out of curiosity, I popped over to her IG after watching this video to see if she's still in Limelife (I didn't comment or harass, just looked). She jumped to Modere in early June. Can't make this shit up.
did the same just now about 2 yrs later she's still on the same trip. didn't engage just viewed some videos. there was one where she was boasting that the bank accepted her MLM income for the mortgage 💀😅

"Seriously, you are gonna look this drug dealer in the eyes and tell them it's a crime that's ruining people's lives despite the fact it's keeping lights on in their house?!" - mlm hun logic, 2022.
Lol so true! Drug dealing CAN’T be illegal BECAUSE people can make a lot of money from it. That’s also true for human traffickers, assassins, and anyone currently cooking meth in a trailer in the desert 🌵.
Late to the convo but I always use this argument and I'm met with "Omg so NOW you're comparing us to drug dealers??" And totally try to shift the blame off themselves by using reactionary emotions alone.

You convey your thoughts in a clear and concise manner and your knowledge on this topic is extensive. Kudos to you for being so passionate, honest, caring and knowledgeable. It shows in every one of your videos. If an active mlm person would ever be willing to listen to reason, it would be from your channel. While bashing members from this predatory line of work may be entertaining, I don’t believe it will convert anyone. You on the other offer reason and valid counterpoints to help people see more clearly the line of work they’re involved in. I hope your channel continues to grow. You are a tremendous asset to the movement.
@@HannahAlonzo agreed. Some of the other channels, even the ones you promote as your inspiration, get equally sassy back at hun bots, and it can be hard to watch without feeling hypocritical. Thank you for your classiness !!
Her saying "I've had 5 returns in 5 years'' has the same energy as people on Kitchen Nightmares swearing up and down that they've "never had a complaint about their food" while their business is right about to implode because people hate the food.
“Pyramid schemes are illegal!” True hun, but it’s also illegal to treat a 1099 contractor as an employee to avoid paying them properly and dodge taxes. I’ve been studying business concepts for a retail management course. I see a lot of the ways MLMs parallel business concepts but twist them and therefore commit business fraud. This is the biggest major red flag I’ve noticed, that all these people act like employees and have contracts that treat them like employees but pay them as 1099 contractors. There’s more I’ve noticed but yeah, that’s the one that Huns should give a shit about
@@melissaj1310 thank you! It’s something I have been thinking of doing for a little while. These people are really bad at math that they say we use victimization. I know it doesn't take a data scientist to disprove MLMs, but I feel an actual professional with data that makes a visualization of MLMs is just going to strengthen the anti-MLM argument. There's nothing we can show to MLMers to change their mind cause they don't listen to reason and math. They're too slow to understand it.
Her child hears her in the next room. They are impacted by the behavior being displayed and modeled. Her child has feelings about it they don’t know how to process so they repress and mask. Her child is learning that this behavior is accepted currency in their household culture and perhaps in the community as well.
Every single time I watch an MLM hun trying to defend their company by telling us how "unbothered" they are by "the haters" - I'm constantly asking myself, who is this video for? Who is this person speaking to? Because they always seem to be trying to debunk the anti-MLM movement for any potential recruits who might be watching and waiting on the side lines. But they also talk to the anti-MLM "haters" directly. And any way you look at it, this message is WAY too aggressive. Why would any potential recruit watch this and think to themselves, "Yeah, hmm this seems like a stable situation. Nothing fishy here."
@@tarajh exactly! And to turn her argument around with the example she used about Target - people who work for companies like Target don't go out of their way to get on Instagram to rant about other people not wanting to work for Target. So if she can make money without recruiting, why does it bother her so much that people don't want to be recruited? Oh wait, that's right - she's totally NOT bothered at all. That's why she spent a good half hour out of her day to talk about this in the first place. 💁🏻♀️
"This will change lives!" Yeah, MLM definitely changed my life. I had a best friend, then I lost her to an MLM. Now my best friends are my 2 cats. They drain my monthly salary like nobody's business, but I'll gladly offer my whole salary to them however many times over.
I didn't realize at Chic-fil-a, you get a promotion by paying the company a monthly fee to work there and also by how many more additional new employees you bring in the door to continue to bring other new employees in the door. Super interesting.
After binging on this channel, a few things come to mind: 1) thank god I’m 40 and am no longer easily influenced by others and no longer fall for the BS, 2) this reinforces my decision to steer clear of social media, especially people who go on “lives” and just go on and on… it doesn’t even have to do with mlm- just crazy people in general, who are in love with themselves and every word they say
Hannah, all I can say is “mic drop.” Such a great video. I joined a public speaking group months ago, and I couldn’t help but think the contrast between you too was so interesting. Her laughing, mocking and sometimes nasty speaking style was so unhinged it was impossible to take her seriously. Even if she had been sharing facts, which she wasn’t. A really interesting case study to watch!
Her personality is honestly terrifying and insufferable. The manic laughing, the impersonations, the condescending tone through the ENTIRE video. I barely made it through
I dearly love Hannah's videos, and her grace, class, and kindness..... but I'm only halfway through this video and not even Hannah's loveliness can reduce the frustration I feel at this hun.
the anger coming from that mlm hun is next level. if anyone talked to me like that during a recruitment event or interview (for a real job) I would run for the hills
I can't imagine what she's like as a wife and mother. The way she snapped at her child to close the door. The way her child can hear her yelling hysterically at a camera...I don't know how anyone can tolerate being around her
"Most people don't wanna get to the top!" Yeah, who the hell wants to work till they are able to make a living? I wanna make 400 a month and not even be able to pay for groceries. I don't understand why people don't see that.
The lady in the green top is yelling at me and talking to me like I’m an idiot so why exactly would I be wanting to do what she does? Weird. No thanks. Love your videos Hannah!

I was listening to it while I was driving and I was white knuckled and frustration through most of my drive. Wrong and condescending are the two best words I can think of for her.
Funny story.... I started with my company as a part time/seasonal associate. (Cashier, sales associate and such) I was promoted from that position up to a Store Manager, over a 4 year period. I was promoted yearly through the management ranks. I was then transferred to a corporate administrative job. This position would typically be given to someone with a degree ... I do not have a degree. You absolutely can work your way up to CEO. Not everyone, but it's not impossible.
Yea most of that kind of advancement has MUCH more to do with playing their games ….ass kissing and more ass kissing. I just….can’t. I’ve tried. Or you’ll need to be available 24/7…..the job is YOUR LIFE…..yes I know well those climbing types in ….retail. And I don’t mean that negative in your sense at all, I’ve met many awesome managers etc. but way more verbally abusive manipulation sort of💩 ….. Way I am I can’t function living like that…wish I did!
@@6Haunted-Days that is actually not true. I didn't have to kiss booty. Maybe you did, but that isn't my experience. I also did not put in 24/7 of my time. Compared to MLM's it's much better and you have a salary or hourly wage. Retail isn't for everyone, but it is a job that pays. I'm sorry your experience was so hard. 😔

I hate the argument that people spend thousands on college and “don’t end up doing that profession” like it means your education is useless. I have a philosophy degree and I spent years as a technical writer and now am a yoga instructor. My education has been fundamental in every job I’ve had. I was taught to communicate clearly and concisely, write well, argue logically, question dogma, understand other points of view, think for myself, present myself well, I could go on and on…), so even though I’m not a “Philosopher,” I use my education every day. Money WELL spent.
My favorite thing about that last woman is that she kept saying things about how people don’t consider collage a money pit. YES THEY DO! Thats a major point of politics in the USA right now😂 saying that no one thinks collage is a money pit is false!
I hope this isn't how she deals with her children when they need to be corrected or discipline because I'm feeling verbally slapped just watching her on a tiny phone screen. Honestly, if she reached through the screen and _actually_ managed to slap me I wouldn't even be surprised, that's just how insanely raging she comes off.
I just gotta chime in real quick to say that I joined LimeLife in the beginning of 2020 and this girl literally was my upline she’s like way up there and has so many people under her. Let’s just say clearly it didn’t go well nor did I last long. Gah I just can’t with all of what she says. 😂 so rude, so all up in your face for absolutely no reason!
Regarding college, she says, "interesting how people don't call that a money pit though." Yes.... a lot of people do actually call it that. I'm confused as to how someone can't have a problem with MLMs ANNNNNND the student loan issue. Two money-sucking systems can exist at once.
yeah like it's legit all millennials talk about is that it's a scam. and even with her lil scheme she says her husband is still the provider, so the degree still worked out, it sounds like.

Every time she laughs, I want to ask her "are you alright?" That laugh sounds more like a cry for help. My eye sockets are sore from rolling so hard.
Didn't you know, in order to become a store manager, you have to recruit 6 bagger, 3 receipt checkers and a produce watcher. Obviously.
How can I sign up to be a produce watcher, cuz that sounds like a great easy job! 😂
@@smurph13 Hard on the back and it's a "dirty" job. HAHAHA
And if the baggers recruit more baggers, they automatically become store managers too 😉
I would also like to say that anger is routed in fear, and it is coming off STRONGLY in this video. Imagine having a team of over 800 people and still feeling THIS insecure in your business.
I love how she's like "My company is why i have my house, car, and vacations" and then says "my husband is the provider of our family"
@@catinthechat01 my marriage is going very well, but I rarely use my ring.
Whoa. Hold up. My 26oz glass is insulted by the insinuation that it's involved.
There are 2 times in my life I remember being so full of rage; when I was on norco for my broken leg and when I got covid from my brother in 2020. Either way, there seems like there needs to be some kind of influence.

I’ve gone done a rabbit hole watching your back catalog. Absolutely love your videos!
The wildest thing to me watching these back to back is that their jobs are to network and sell, but so many of these women come off as unlikeable and condescending. It’s a strange sales/recruiting tactic. It’s very sad to see how deep into the cult they are.
wow she seems SUPER UNBOTHERED.
i've cried over making 1,000 in a month
i'm an independent, self employed artist selling on etsy, and i'm working on growing my business
as a disabled person, it's kinda my only option
i'm almost at the point where it's a full time income, and i feel good about it because i'm not taking advantage of anyone and my success actually IS dependant entirely on my own work (plus the etsy search functions and stuff, but that's not an actual person)
i make my product and sell my product, i price items fairly so that i earn what i deserve, it pays the fees like listing fees and shipping costs, and i'm not massively overcharging for everything i sell so i'm not taking advantage of my customers
This is probably unintentional, but I love that you’re wearing a red shirt with how much she’s bringing up the metaphor of “anti-MLMers calling her green shirt red” 😂
I won’t lie to you, this played into my decision on what to wear. Gold star to you for noticing! 😉

“Pyramid schemes are illegal!”
True hun, but it’s also illegal to treat a 1099 contractor as an employee to avoid paying them properly and dodge taxes.
There’s more I’ve noticed but yeah, that’s the one that Huns should give a shit about
You should make videos explaining this. It’s some powerful stuff. 👍

YES YES YES KAYLA. Preach!!
Right? If her paychecks are the same whether she recruits or not (cough*liar*cough), then why does it make her FURIOUS that people might not join?
“Let me pay money to join her company now” yeeeeeah probs not gonna get you the recruits you want…

Yeah, MLM definitely changed my life.
Additionally on the “Franchise” argument, most MLMs in their terms and conditions explicitly say that by joining them you don’t own a franchise.
That was painful. How do the MLMs feel about their representatives acting like this? It’s crazy! Wow! Love your channel and vids!
Hannah woke up and chose violence and I'm here for it. This lady is a lot
Hannah, all I can say is “mic drop.” Such a great video. I joined a public speaking group months ago, and I couldn’t help but think the contrast between you too was so interesting. A really interesting case study to watch!
This takedown was masterful, Hannah! But I expected no less.
P.S. the only "truth bomb" I heard was that she was preyed on when vulnerable.
Thanks Tara!! That’s true, she was correct about that statement! 😂
