    Lemme axe you a question.... is that axe sharp enough to go through a bathroom door? I only ask because all work and no play makes Drew a dull boy.

      He does a ton of them. As you can see in some of the background shots, he has so many axe heads just waiting to be restored. Thanks, Ethan!

      That thing was cool, wasn't it? He flew on that grinder. He's done it a time or two. Thanks, Bao!

      The 2x72 belt grinder is a necessity for any shop!

    Dang that dude does not mess around. If cleans a house as efficiently as he preps an axe, I wanna book him for some services. 😂

    Thanks for video, I am curious if he was ever concerned about or mentioned getting the axe edge too hot on the grinder? I thought that was a concern for hardness or ruining the hardness. I don’t know. I’m just asking. Thx!

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m sure that is a consideration. I didn’t show all of the grinding because that would have been boring, but he took breaks often enough that it was not getting too hot.

      The ceramic belts are very effect at keeping the steel cool. Also, when I switch to A/O belts, the RPMs are reduced to 50% to keep from overheating.
