Dressing gown! Also, I love the idea you had of doing a mini index in that space at the top of the page! Fantastic idea! I've used the yearly pages in my Cousin as an index before, as I usually only have one thing on each page, but I think you found the perfect solution to a quick reference system for commonplacing. Will look forward to seeing it if you do try it out. Thanks for another lovely video, enjoyed every bit of it. And your pugs sound gorgeous. The sound of them snoring is just the cutest thing. ❤
Hello! I discovered your videos only now and I love your Commonplace system, especially the idea about the dot stickers in different colours! Thinking about making a system for my own Hobonichi Cousin, where I usually write a summary of my day, but add random observations if there’s any space left. To me, it’s a dressing gown, by the way, but I’m not a native speaker of English.
Dressing gown sounds fancier🥰. I say house coat or robe (is that the same?). It was very interesting to hear about your commonplace book. I guess I commonplace too- without knowing it.😂 I use a cousin to organize. So each month is a subject. So January might be about health ( research etc) and when it’s filled I start up in May with the same stuff. February is research for artists (bio and notes on work)- when it’s full I’ll start the next month. I use the monthly as an index. The weekly section just has listed information I want to refer to and update. I don’t decorate it though- yours look so nice- I should try some stickers too.
Thank you for answering that strange question about dressing gown. Love how everyone calls it something different. Oh thats so interesting!! I love that idea so much 🥰🥰 Its like learning about topics - amazing!!!! Love how you set it up too. Do you put links in the weekly pages? Or like where info came from? Sounds good! Thank you for sharing 😊😊
