I made Paris-Brest a few years ago with a friend. I'm not a professional baker, so with all the stirring, beating, and whipping it was nice to trade off with him to give my arm a rest now and then. We made two complete Paris-Brest at the same time. This is an absolutely delicious dessert.
French desserts, absolutely perfect in every way. Just the right amount of sweetness balanced with pastry, butter, cream. They look amazing, taste amazing and are a complete pain in the butt to make :D (worth it, but you will curse a couple of times lol)
It’s the same dough so yes. You could even do it as profiteroles or make the filling as an ice cream since the custard part of the filling mix reminds me of creme anglaise.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The recipe is hidden behind a PAY WALL and it's gonna cost you $50 to read. Unfair marketing. There are plenty of other Paris Brest videos available on TH-cam that include the recipe.
Amazing that someone can create such a recipe with what seems like a 100 different steps/techniques.

I made one of these 50 years ago, but had forgotten about it. After watching this, may have to do it again.
Wow that took forever. I dont have the patience to prepare that but would like to try it. Thank YOU ATK, ladies.
We find this in any bakery here in France and I had no idea how hard it is to make it. Great job!!
I had it in France last summer, one of the best pastries I've ever tasted :)
i know i give you guys a hard time but i truly love this channel. it's the best cooking show of all time
I can't think of anybody I like enough to make this for.
Wow! This is a Saturday project the kids can help with!
Serves 6-8 people? Am I the only one who thinks it’s barely enough for me? Thanks for this gorgeous recipe. Will definitely try it.
Me too! Easily!
Thank you 😊
If I ever see it on a menu at a top restaurant, I'm totally trying this. Looks amazing.
Just lovely! 💕

This is a winner.
_I_ want the pudding skin (12:00). It's my favorite part.
I have 9 months to practice this for Valentine's day.
Having something standing so close to me while I am cooking would drive me nuts...
I counted. There’s approximately 1 BILLION calories in that thing 😂😂
Merci bucco!
I know it wouldn't look as spectacular, but couldn't this be done as eclairs? I think I'm going to try that.
Same pâte choux Yes.
That's exactly how I would make it. But then yes it's just eclairs.
This is a great center piece though...

I see two dishes on the screen that have the ingredients. :)
Looks delicious but not something I'd ever make, so many steps :')
Anyone up for pudding skin singles?
You posted this video like a month or so ago.... how about some new content. This channel keeps doing this.
They do full episodes as they air, then break up the individual recipes into separate videos after the season is over.
Holy WOW. Not something you whip up in 20 minutes.

looks interesting, but there is no chance i'll try to make it. way too fidgety - even for a special occasion.
I counted 5 eggs in the pate Chou
Nice looking dessert but a lot of work.
Not the best version of this. Much more complex and time consuming ....ughh
This recipe has been totally Americanized 😅 far from the original French recipe.
This is the most comedically complicated recipe I've watched.
Try watching a recipe for the opera cake.
Oh come on you guys. It sounds like “pair-ee bray” I love this show but that was embarrassing.
