    99% of euc riders don’t really go faster than 31mph unless it’s in short bursts. This wheel looks fantastic

    Man, the anticipation grows...the muscles I grew trying to jump w/ my MSX will serve me well on this S18. I can't wait! Chooch! That last jumping shot looked great!

    The bike lane + the right turn lane combo + inattentive driver is exactly how I got my worst EUC accident. The driver just merged into the right turn/bike lane without looking. Thankfully no broken bones, but lots of soft tissue damage and road rash. My helmet and face shield saved brain and my face. Wrist guards saved my wrists~
    I agree wholeheartedly about feeling safer being in a car lane.

      agree man, another thing i started doing is just waving my arms in a fashion t get cars to see me. Always pointing nodding and just riding like people are actively trying to kill me lol.

    Exactly what you described happened to me in the ‘protected’ bike lane. Fortunately I stopped and let him turn. I caught it all on my GoPro.

    I appreciate the good example you set with wearing the gear. Your the reason I use a reflective vest (I just didn’t think of it before) I wear it day and night and it makes a big difference you can tell cars have a lot of caution by me now. 👍🏻

    "The bike lane is the most unsafe place to ride" -- yes! I learned this as a cyclist. It's better to just take a lane on streets where cars can get around you.

    • @Meekerextreme
      @Meekerextreme 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Especially how they design some bike lanes. Flow of traffic, parked cars, and then bike lane...no one sees you over there because you are hidden from view by parked trucks and box trucks etc.

  • @2DopeKitchen
    @2DopeKitchen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You are sooooooo right about bike lanes. They aren't even all that safe for bikes because of the same reasons here in Philly. I ride electric longboards and that is the only time i've been hit by a car

    I have been using that horn for biking and now for EUC. It's mental how loud it is. Mine have hose so you can use it at bottle holder at your bike frame and horn at handlebar.

    You REALLY LOVE riding that thing! 🥰 it's easy to see by just watching you.
    It's not always about getting the biggest range or highest top speeds, EUCs are evolving in a better direction now. 👍
    I have a theory about the s18 and jumping (compared to v11), on the s18 all the battery and frame etc is sprung so it's bouncy, so when you launch that weight bounces up and brings the wheel with it. But on the v11 only the rider is sprung and the whole wheel/frame/battery is dead weight so you need to lift the wheel with your legs when you launch. Just a thought...

    Whats up big man. MY favorite parts of these vids is peoples reactions. I only rock a 16X and Z10 but they are fantastic wheels and I got them specifically for my size (290 lb give or take). I've been thinking of upgrading to a suspension wheel that can take my weight. That sherman S looks juicy.

    Boy it's hard to choose between this and the V11! Living in a small, old British city with steep hills and bad roads, there's a lot to consider. I like to go off-road too, for the freedom, but need to improve my skills. Currently I ride a Z10 and a V5F. One of these WILL be the next step, but which?? 🤔

    To stop wobbles i normally release top pad pressure and striaghten knees and it stops at once. Never understood how you could ride with such bent knees all the time

    Don't go on sidewalk especially at that speed... you should give a good example... pass so close to pedestrian it's very dangerous. Thank you

    Please slow down when driving on sidewalks, wheelers will later avoid having sanctions from the police or town halls.
