As the bridge is now, it’s indeed dangerous. However, if the approach to the bridge (from both ends) were to be improved, the bridge would be relatively safe (in the absence of heavy rainfall). I’ve driven over “Flat Bridge” as I have over many other bridges. This is good entertainment!

On a serious note...... American trucks are just far too big for Jamaica, European trucks wouldn't have no problem negotiating flat bridge .......and we don't have to be in the gearbox so much carrying top weight.......waste of fuel ⛽
