I recall 3yrs ago Everyone saying year 3 was supposed to be a down year bc the Cap and the losses Miami would surely have. Dolphins are right where they were supposed to be (Tua injury aside) If last 2 weeks hold re play-calling etc from Coach they will be fine, perhaps This had to happen to level up.
What I'm looking at everyone is that Grier has gotten future olinemen in place. We brought in from this past draft a LT Patrick Paul and the Draft before Keion Smith which they had plans to play him at Guard and what Ive always been saying is you have your starters and you must have solid back ups because if a starter leaves because they want to much $$$ ( Hunt) then you don't miss a step and that's what these Dynasty teams do (Patriots, Cheifs etc.). You also have to do the samehting with the D- line and every position because you just don't know who will want more $$$ just saying and it'll help the team as a whole also. Grier sure been here for 20 yrs or so that doesn't mean he needs to go. No GM did a true rebuild here with the Dolphins Grier did and has brought on the team some really good players and sure some weren't all good but a GM across the entire NFL isn't going to bring in good players all the time. The Dolphins with Tyreek and Waddle teams are forcing the Dolphins to do things different and so they are with the sprinkle of plays that will turn into big plays. This is a team of 33 players not just 2 or 3. Fins Up
You guys hit some great points. Injuries obviously just broke our year man. Absolutely hit it with Mike learning a more sustainable offensive game plan to play against the best teams. The fastest track team style, was never going to take us anywhere. Grier?? I think most would agree that he built a Superbowl roster with McDaniel at the helm in just 2 yrs. Don't quit just because we haven't put it all together. The only knock is that the guys he picked up have fallen to the injury bug, save for Armstead because everyone knew he was injury prone. Straight up referee's supposed to touch the ball every single play and place the ball they did not do it they screwed us out of 5 seconds they kicked the field Goal with 5 seconds left they cheated again like they fricken Always do every time it's a Close game it Always goes the bill's way you I'm tired of seeing flags at the end of games that decide games referees need to stay out of it if somebody pushes somebody down yeah I get it but none of that happened it's all ticky tack b*******
They may have screwed us out of 5 seconds, but they kicked the field goal on a dead clock with 10 seconds. If 5 seconds were removed, they would have kicked it with 5 seconds left. Also, the rule is the ball must be placed where the line judge with the clearest view marks the ball. It doesn't have to be touched by any other refs. Players just never get the spot right. It happens like 3 times a year league wide. Same way in college and high school. Buffalo also got screwed out of a touchdown by a bad holding call. We played pretty good and had a chance at the end.
I’m not hopeful for this season, that said we need to dive in and find out why our locker room looks like the emergency room at Jackson Memorial- our 2nd tier players are not top notch
Don't get it twisted people like to cry about bad calls when it's against their team even though almost all of the calls are correct but there are some calls that are truly bad, so quit trying to justify bad calls by pointing out other calls that are right.
GM goes HC goes tired of the half ass change which leaves old culture still intact becasue it lingers. We couldn't trade for anyone becasue cap space and next year going be even more tight.
