G'day Tom. Very nice little project. Just shows how complex a small level can be with all the fiddly work involved. Glad you came out so well through the storm. Well done overal. Ted
@hilltopmachineworks2131 We have just gone into our summer. So fine to Very hot summers ahead, With later in December gets very hot 🔥 even into January, which can go into 40 degrees C , which is about 110 f.
Brilliant idea Tom. Wonderful gift for someone. I guess you could cold blue it, to help protect against rust. Nice side project. Glad you didn’t suffer too much damage in the storm. Take care. Nobby

Thanks Nobby. I thought about doing some sort of protectant, but I do like the look of the gray steel so I kept it as is.

Great video I’m very interested in making some for Christmas, do you have any plans or drawings available? Look forward to your next video.
Thanks. No real plans. I just basically copied the Starrett one. You can make them any size you want really.
Nice little job Tom. Why not make them out of aluminium so they don't rust? I love how you include Mr Kaos in every video...he has you well trained!
I just chose 12L14 because I found it at a really good price from a E-Bay seller. Not to mention it machines nice.
Tom, can you give a better link for the Secret Santa project? A lot of other stuff pops up when I try to search. Have a merry merry and a happy happy.
