My daughter just had our first grand baby girl yesterday! She did an all natural unmedicated birth and labored for 30 hours. But our sweet, gorgeous, beautiful grandbaby is here and both are doing great. Wishing you lots of luck and love for a safe delivery. I have 5 kiddos myself. Ages 17 to 24 and I love being a mama. It's the absolute best at every phase.❤❤
Congratulations. Our youngest daughter also gave birth to her 1st baby - a boy - in December and had an all natural home water birth following about 30 hours of active labor. Strong young women

I can't explain nesting till I went through it myself. Truly a phenomenon. I was cleaning and reorganizing the whole house. Mamas getting ready for baby... cant wait for littles #2 💕

I loved to watch this! I'm currently 40 weeks pregnant and tomorrow is my due date! It's going to be so cool this time to watch you going through the same thing as me, having the second child. When I had my first Sage was almost 2 yo. Now our second child will only be weeks apart! Can't wait to live this "together" with you 💗

Props to you for nesting 😭 I’m 36 weeks and I don’t feel like doing anything. I need to prep lactation cookies and finish packing things as well as finishing the nursery but all of my energy is dedicated to my 19 month old and cleaning up after her since she has been so messy lately.
The Boppie Wedge Pillow is EVERYTHING. I took mine to the hospital for labor and delivery.

Ugh so in the mood for this! I’m 23 weeks with number 2 and we just found out we’re staying in our current house so keen to nest now!
I recently found out I’m expecting baby #3! My youngest is 6, so I feel like I’ve been away from babies for a while. So excited for all the expecting mamas!!
How exciting! Don't forget to pack for Sage! I watched my cousin while her parents were at the hospital having their new baby and had no idea what to dress her in, feed her, etc 😅

A thing I do to avoid having him try on clothes, especially at home, might even work in the store, is to have a current piece of clothing, say pants or blouse, and measure the new one on top to see if it will fit the waste, leg or arm length. I do that because I have a lot of handed down clothes in bags and I sit down one afternoon and measure all with the current clothes and decide according to season and colour. I do a capsule wardrobe style for mine as well, 2-3 colours that match well together, so even if my husband dresses my kid it still matches and is stylish. Even if my baby does it himself it still looks good! 🤣😍😍😍

I would consider getting another pack of diapers for Sage just in case she goes through a regression when baby arrives! Apparently very common and it might be easier to have some a few on hand just in case!

I agree with the newborn clothes. I just had a 9 1/2 lb baby and he wears newborn size. Some are too small, but most fit. I almost didn't buy any because I thought he wouldn't fit, but glad I did!
We use a lot of the same non toxic baby products as you but thought I’d mention that calendula toothpaste isn’t great. We used it for a while but after researching they need something to remineralise the teeth since the fluoride is missing. We use Risewell now. Hope that’s useful! Happy nesting ❤
I had baby #2 about a month ago and was worried my daughter would want a pacifier even though she never liked them. Happy to report that she (mostly) leaves it alone, except to give it to her brother. Best of luck!
Love watching your channel. Enjoying mom life. But any extra utencils or things you don't use much, consider using them in an activity for Sage. Like play Doh cookies or the sand/rice scoop to transfer to containers for coordination. I use a lot of extra utencils with my little one while I cook. He's always gotta have something in his hand :)

Totally agree on the getting newborn sizes!! My first daughter was 9lbs 1.7 oz, she was 2 weeks late- and EVERYONE told me to not buy anything newborn. 0-3 month clothes were huge on her for a few weeks. We had to continually pull onsies down away from her face. Due with little girl #2 in 3 weeks and definitely prepared for newborn this time!
Yeah I agree even though it’s a short period I still prefer clothes that fit and I don’t want all my newborn photos to be of him/her drowning in clothing lol
A lot of people will buy 0 to 3 for gifts. Consignment stores have lots of like new NB things
Definitely! where i live they have size 0-1 month and even that my kids didn't wear right away. They were in NB clothes for a few weeks. 0-3 months looks a little ridiculous on a newborn in my opinion.

When my son came out he did not fit in anything newborn size 😅 he was really long and went straight into 0-3. I'm hoping this second baby has a little bit of time in the newborn size. (I'm due jan.20th) ❤

I agree buying newborn clothes but i purchased a few packs of newborn diapers and they were too small from day 1. Every time my little boy peed i had to change his onesie. I now have so many unusable diapers 😩

Ah, I remember the days of putting together cute outfits for my daughter. Then she turned 3 and has refused to let me choose since 😂 She’s 5 now and finally puts together a decent looking outfit on her own lol. I figure as long as it’s appropriate for the season, I let her go for it and be creative. And less fighting lol. Now my son who is about to turn 3 couldn’t care less what he wears. Maybe one day he will find his fashion sense 💁🏼♀️

I tried hello bello with my little boy and i tells ya they didnt work for him. So if your having a boy hopefully they work for you. He just had a lot of blowouts and leaks. Also the wipes gave him such a red bum so we had to go to huggies. I should try hello bello again now that my little one is older.

My baby was 10lbs 9oz and she needed newborn clothes for weeks.
Good to know because I’m still debating if I add a 0-3 size in the baby bag for the hospital but I just feel like I won’t need it
@@HealthNutNutrition Everyone insisted our baby was going to be HUGE and skip past NB clothes so we got her “coming home outfit” in a 0-3 mo… She didn’t fit into it for months 😂
My kids were average weight and height for newborns and they wore newborn clothing for at least 3 weeks. Everyone says you don't need the newborn size but whenever I see birth announcements I can definitely tell which babies were put into way too big clothes because the parents didn't want to buy newborn clothes. Which is fine but the babies usually look like they are disappearing inside their clothes. We have size 1 month here which my kids started wearing around 1 month and the 3 months clothing they definitely did not start wearing until they were over 2 months.

So I noticed before you had Sage, your channel was definitely more eco friendly. I understand that having a child can swift things, but please try to be more mindful! Thrift stores have so many baby clothes!!
We have made many eco friendly choices and continue to do so. This doesn’t mean that in every aspect of our life we are perfect.
