"Ancient writing... from the Old Kingdom..."
Says Bayek while being underwater that one time
Hahaha hated that sentence
@@swaggio1 that's him thinking
What even is the old kingdom
@@00Batman egyptian history is divided to 4 main kingdoms. Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom, Ptolemaic Dynasty and ended when Egypt was taken into part of Rome as a Province of Rome after Cleopatra's death. there were intermediate periods in between those main 4 kingdoms that lasted 100 years or so.
Old Kingdom lasted for about 500 years c.2600BC to 2100BC. it was when the pyramids were built.
Middle Kingdom lasted about 400 years c.2050BC to 1650BC
New Kingdom lasted almost 500 years c.1550BC to 1070BC
then theres a gap here when Egypt was ruled by the Assyrians and Persians for about 700 years until Alexander the Great came and liberated them and put his second in command, Ptolemy 1 as Pharoah.
Ptolemaic Dynasty lasted 275 years. 305BC to 30BC. ended when Cleopatra 7 died, then egypt was known as a Province of Rome for 670 years until the Muslim Conquest began in 640AD.
What I love about Egyptian history is that it is so old, like when Bayek mentioned the old kingdom and old pharaos, I realized that there already was a great history when Bayek was alive
By the time bayek was alive the pyramids were 2500 years old
The pyramids were as old to Bayek as he was to us, over 2000 years separate. Egypt's history is mind-bogglingly huge.

When I read the Quran, I realized that the most often mentioned and the longest story of its stories was Prophet Moses and Pharaoh story. It was part by part. But while I was reading and thinking about this story and these events had happened thousands of years ago, I always got marvellous feelings. It was like a time machine which you can hear the dialogues and can watch the scenes between them..
And AC Origins really helped for this.

The only problem i didnt like about unity the storyline was just stupid
Ace Mifune Yes! I played hours and hours of Brotherhood and beat it 10+ times. Ezio will always be a badass. Then I bought Black Flag. Black Flag was an amazing game. Great time setting, interesting characters, amazing open world, and an emotional storyline. I also spent hours and hours on Black Flag exploring the huge map and destroying the huge monster ships at the corners of the map. Clearing every single island was so fun. Plus the story was sad. He loses his girl, then proceeds to lose good friends along the way to the point where he was alone. wish I could experience playing AC games like Brotherhood and Black Flag for the first time all over again.
Ace Mifune And I also never got into Unity. Syndicate too. I might try them one-day.

@@amirsayfiddinov How? There's nothing that stops you from progressing the game at all. The only things that are payed are very bad cosmetics.
@@Noctuam734@brxnv the game is artificially stretched: side quests are not optional anymore, 'cause it gets too hard as go through the story missions, and have to do side missions to level up. And by some "coincidence" there is way to reduce that "grinding" in the micro transactions section...
@@amirsayfiddinov Ok? Play the sidequests then, while that's the case, most side quests in Origins are good and enhance Bayek's storyline. It would be a shame if you played this game without touching the side content. Plus the game would be way shorter. You only have to finish 2 or 3 to get the level right, if you see this as "insane grinding" maybe you shouldn't play story driven open word games.

I grew up with AC. Played the very first back then. Played the glorious Story of Ezio always with the collecting editions with goodies n shit. Now. This. Origins. Will forever have a very special place in my heart. I got sucked into ancient egypt. I loved it. Absolutely. I don't care what anybody says about this or future games. Riding through the Desert too long, then suddenly seeing illusions (creepy ones too!).. Goosebumps... Entering ancient pyramids and tombs... And then there's this heartbreaking story we AC Fans never thought to be topped after Ezio. But there we were. Everytime I listen to this theme I get thrown back to my first playthroug, and how "free of sorrows" I was while playing this. Laugh at me in real life all you want people, this is what gives me Joy, this is why I'm not giving in. To experience ancient worlds, fascinating storys, that let me forget troubles and sorrow. Sarah is a gifted musician. Now after completing the game, I listen to this theme and came to realize that it beautifully represents the heart wrenching journey and transformation of a simple man from a small village who pledged to be the protector of the people, but upon losing his family, and witnessing evil and corruption spread his beloved land, is forced to leave behind his former life, and take an oath to fight evil and oppression from the shadows so that no one else has to go through the pains of losing their loved ones. This musical piece is an epic embodiment of the story of probably the strongest protagonist in the AC universe, that is, a Medjay of Egypt, the one and only, Bayek of Siwa.
