First one felt like more of a level rather than an animation. The first one also had a more gradual build-up rather than all the gore happening immediately
the first one's gore happens sooner then the second though...
@@MatthewTheKitsune I guess. But when the gore in 2.0 started kicking in it was very sudden, while in V1 it just flashed on and off for a few seconds and everything seemingly goes back to normal, which I think is better.
Idk why but the sun at the end of the 1st one pleases me for some reason as a good detail

1: Both of the versions has too kiD frIEndly in it, if you read the capitals, it spells out "DIE"
2: During the V2 end credits, there are some flicking red letters. If you read them, it spells out "die" and "you monster". This basically means that the cube killed the people and sent a nuke to the city.

All of these GD horror levels have made me realize how god awfully desensitized I've become towards gore and blood.
Just doesn't hit the same anymore, I just find it edgy.

For me, I think I had to agree to everyone that the first one is better than the second.
the 1st one focus on the gradual gore and revealing of story points than the second. Plus it makes people curious on the events in the story when they portray that the humans turn to monsters due to mental disorders or something else. It kinda depends to our interpretation honestly.
While the second one, focus more on the great animation improvement but lack the sync on the music part. This is just my opinion but they kinda tone down the gore and scare on the second one for some reason.

I feel like they need to make a too kid friendly 3 because it makes no sense! We need backstory as of why the cube did that, also so the order would make sense. It would go 3 2 1 which would symbolize a countdown eventually creating too kid friendly 0, witch would help by explaining everything with words, animation, but also being a level.
I unveiled a secret message in the end credits of V2.
All the names flash a letter red, and combining all of them together, it reads:
"Die, you rare monster"

Even though they basically have the same storyline I like the storyline of v2 better but I think v1 is better just the nostalgia of v1 brings back memories when I used to play geometry dash i dont anymore though
The only reason these levels are considered scary is because most of the people that play/watch it are younger than bloodbath.
First one is a bit more disturbing
Second one was just good for animation, more gore but not as disturbing
And sometimes just no gameplay (for the second version)
These levels leave me tho think how they’re even alowed the game.

I feel like origin of the mutant gave the characters more personality, the animation was also smoother but I feel like the first one keeps you entertained (as a horror artist)

I don’t think too kiD frIEndly was supposed to have lore in the first place and was just made to be a “funny spooky shit” level.
I like the first one because the 2 references, the airship from Henry stick man and the "I was not the imposter" scene was from among us

v1 is a much better approach of horror and gore. it has a kinda mysterious thing to it where, instead of just massacre and blood immediately, it does so in a subtle way until the beat drops. and it ALSO discusses causes of death.
for example, we see a bomb being dropped onto a city, which is what actually happened in history back then. another instance is all of the lil monster guys dying horrifically to other causes.
the first one dies to an explosion. the second one gets run over by a car. the third is asphyxiated. the fourth gets shot by a gun through their glasses (proof is shown in the sequel)
and theres also the san franciso scenes where its thrown into chaos.
however, v2 is just "ooo scary gore blood", the v1 is much better
I agree that 90% of V1 is better but ngl I really love how the blue monster in V2 is done, I think that version of the monster in V1 would be perfect
