我们在元宵节到怡保万里望巴刹逛！万里望巴刹超过100年历史，这里应有尽有，还有各种周边美食，是不可错过的美食天堂！这一集，我们先吃了巴刹冷巷里的炒粉，再到附近钻石咖喱面粉吃咖喱河粉和酿豆腐！
We visited Menglembu, Ipoh on last day of CNY. Menglembu market has been around for over 100 years! It has everything you need from fresh produce, meats, seafoods to clothings. Not to mention that are many delicious food in and around the market! In this episode, we first tried the wan tan hor by a "no name "stall in the market. Then we walked to bearby Diamond Kopitiam for it's curry noodles and yong tau foo.

The unpretentious and sustainable wet market of Menglembu is surely awesome. People are nice and that is hard to comeby these days.
You are famous wherever you go. People can recognize you. You can run but you can't hide. Lol.
The Wat Tan Hor looks so delicious. It is nice to see how it is cooked.
In the Diamond kopitiam, the fish Yong Tau Foo with curry sauce and Jicama look very delicious. There are alot of variety to choose from. Things are cheaper than KL for some reason.

Hi Andrew, i love these morning market too. I will run if i meet haters LOL. Prices in Menglembu is cheaper than KL overall, but in Ipoh town, prices is not much different from KL.

Hey Jo Lian, thank you for always supporting! But from what i read and hear, the famous Menglembu Peanuts no longer grown here. Nowadays peanuts are imported from other countries and packaged here if i'm not mistaken. Lands used to grown peanuts are now planted with palm oil. Kinda sad. 🥲

Hi nick 👋.. Thank you very much for doing a video from where I come from . I'm originally from ipoh but menglembu is where I come from . I was there in October last year and if ever need to buy Chinese sausage or dry meat menglembu market is the best place . Cheers my man

@@Nick_catman 紅泥山是一個華人新村，幾乎全村的村民都是客家人，早上有糯米飯，有甜的跟鹹兩種，甜的就是有kaya,鹹的就是有一點點蝦米叉燒，還可以淋點咖哩汁，非常好吃，下午就不知道還有沒有買了，就是魷魚雍菜，因為我人在新加坡工作，只有新年才有回家鄉

Hi NICK, Menglembu still not well developed as yet but have many coffee shop. There's a "NEW" town also but no much to eat. Surprised to hear about your compassion towards the slaughter of live chickens. They do these long time ago before the advent of supermarkets with their convenient frozen dead chicken

很像我們的斗磨tamu但在這裡只營業三天是靠村民帶農作物來賣而巴剎有自己的建築物...這裡的滑蛋河都要價RM 12 一碟...Chinese tea bing也是70￠
我在想东马是不是只有海鲜便宜，其他的通常都和西马不相上下呢？

@@Nick_catman 上次去怡保時買過一粒又甜又大大粒的柚子只是RM14. 無諗過巴刹賣得更貴. 不過可能係過年加價, 情況同香港一樣, 過年買乜嘢都天價.
