Dude, a child Nero says his name is Nero, when his real name was Domicious, took the name Nero when he was adopted by Claudius, everything in this movie is so wrong xD

Wait a moment: Caligula was in power for only about four years. If he was emperor when Nero was a child, he could not be still alive 10 years later. Somehow the timeline seems off. This is obviously not meant to be a historical documentary.
Recall that after Caligula was Claudius the Nero
@@DominushartI think the point you missed is that Claudius should have been in power by the time we see Nero as a teenager, in this film. Instead, we see Caligula. ⚔️

Nero became emperor at age 16 in 54 AD ( Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus). Aka Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus. He reigned from age 16 - age 30 yrs. I took 5 years of Latin only reason I remember their weird names!!! Yes,
I agree this movie is not historically correct. Nero killed his mother and had 5 wives, a couple of which he also had killed,then committed suicide later. However entertaining.

This movie is such a good one to watch. I did not know that Nero was such a gentle and considerate person with so much good points.
The ordinary people actually liked Nero. It's only from the upper classes that we get the negative side of him.

The music is louder than the dialogue.

I understand the idea of artistic license, but this is so licentious and unhistorical that to call it “Nero” is absurd.

Whys does claudius have a beard in this when his bust shows him to be clean shaved also clagiua only ruled 3yrs before he was assissatied
Also- she was a strong fierce woman and had the singular drive of getting her son to power- so SHE could have power. She was greedy for power. You portray her here as meek and stupid.

В начале он был хорошим ребенком и императором в начале своего правления , но потом болезнь превратила его в жестокого человека. Доказано учеными.
The thing was senators and senate were power hungry greedy individuals who did not care about poor population of Rome all the wanted is power and money as well as they were correct... anyone and emperor who opposed senate was in some way described as bad or evil or in any other way mad
