Border Collies chase the animals when you ask them to, they only chase cars if their genetic needs are not met properly and an off switch added - it's not fear at all - it's instinct.
@@collieconsultant Chasing is instinctive. Even if the dog is a nervous dog the chasing can be fixed very quickly and its not done by redirection. Owned 8, have 2 worked with thousands over 25 years. Proved it to hundreds of pet owners. Just trying to share knowledge.

I’m sorry but that absolutely isn’t the case in most collies. Some maybe, but most are fearful.
