Fantastic. I was there in the early 80s. Coming from England it was a culture shock. Wish i lived there now. I really do miss it.

Thank You Dive Judes for offering your "walking tour." It was very interesting to watch. I am from the Detroit, Michigan area and have only ventured into Canada to northern Ontario to build a fishing lodge and then fish out of it. I care greatly about the wilderness and have spent a lot of my life in the outdoors, so I really like to see small towns like Lynn Lake. I hold little towns like Lynn Lake in great favor and hope they can find enough prosperity to keep on but not go crazy with population and become just another boom bust town. Nice little town. ben/ michigan

I am glad that you have enjoyed my video. Lynn Lake is small town and has lots of Lake around it.
Lynn Lake is called as the fishing capital of Manitoba. I knew some of my US friends, who are the owners of some Cabins in Lynn Lake and the surrounding areas.
Have fun with your venture into Northern Canada.

I use to live in Lynn Lake from 1966 - 1969 , We had Teen dances upstairs in the Civic Center , later on , the teen club called the club Stope 13 -19 and was held in the basement of , I think it was the Baptist Church . We use to hang out at the civic center, the Pool Hall, and our favorite restaraunt Wongs Kitchen, and sometimes we ate at the Fairview . CBC had opened a small T.V. Station in the basement of the post office, we got week old shows and hockey games , starting at 5pm till 11pm if I remember correctly. I had lived down at the end of Eldon Ave.

Inspired by the King of Obsolete to view this, he calls it Whoville on his TH-cam channel. Google Earth has no street view of Lynn Lake so this is much appreciated.

Yes, I found KoO TH-cam on Halloween when he started his "extension". I only watched a tiny amount of Ice Road Truckers, but I remembered seeing an episode where Art Burke enlisted "The King of Obsolete" to help deliver a tandem trailer and the King went into the ditch. So, I took an interest in the town and wanted to see what there is. But, as you mentioned, there is no google guy "pegman" to show the town. But, to quote Xena: "That's OK" it's probably better if Lynn Lake stays a little incognito for a few more years to help keep the population under control. ben/ michigan

Ahoy from Delaware. Make that northern Delaware and the the two syllable Newark. Unlike the one syllable Newark in NJ bearing the same spelling, if Noah returned he would build a new ark. Thanks for posting this video/.
