I think it’s because some parents don’t show there love to their kids often because of the way they grew up, how there parents grew them up so they force the way there parents grew them up on the kids and they only really care about them selfs as long as the kids are ok that’s the most important thing they don’t care about the kids feelings sometimes especially the really strict parents
as a person who doesn't have a supportive or loving family just like yours, your videos with your family or your content alone makes me feel apart of your family and makes me feel so comfortable and safe. mama laeno and dad laeno are the best parents you could have ever asked for. I think one thing that I’m only now starting to learn (mostly because of your videos and positive messages) is that it’s not your job to make someone else happy. Obviously to make someone happy is great, but if it’s at the cost of your own happiness it’s not worth it. Don’t be afraid to shut people down if they’re being negative or disrespectful to you, or anyone, because if you don’t, you’re giving them power over you to continue to do whatever they please. Also don’t be afraid to take a break from toxic people (it’s not selfish to need a break, it’s a basic human right), and even if it’s hard to do, it’s worth it in the long run. You are the only person who you can reply on anytime anywhere to make you happy, so do that! Do the things you love, surround yourself with people or things that make you happy. We only live once and what’s the point if you’re living negatively? Be brave and know that everything will work out in the end. I think one thing that I’m only now starting to learn (mostly because of your videos and positive messages) is that it’s not your job to make someone else happy. Obviously to make someone happy is great, but if it’s at the cost of your own happiness it’s not worth it. Don’t be afraid to shut people down if they’re being negative or disrespectful to you, or anyone, because if you don’t, you’re giving them power over you to continue to do whatever they please. Also don’t be afraid to take a break from toxic people (it’s not selfish to need a break, it’s a basic human right), and even if it’s hard to do, it’s worth it in the long run. You are the only person who you can reply on anytime anywhere to make you happy, so do that! Do the things you love, surround yourself with people or things that make you happy. We only live once and what’s the point if you’re living negatively? Be brave and know that everything will work out in the end. I love you colie thank you for being such an inspiration to everyone, specially younger girls, and to always putting a positive message out into the world. Keep being amazing!
