    I've ridden some Idaho wet trails near Coeur d'Alene. Best riding days of my life!

    Special test 1 and 2. Just Checkpoints I assume? I raced hare scrambles for 10 years or so. Loved em.

    Yeeee Haaaaw I know the feeling of riding fast in the slop! It's almost as if your on ice the whole time lol, except the way it sticks and builds up on you and the bike lol. Great riding bro!

    It seems like this terrain still hooks up well wet??? Or is it just the camera not showing everything. Trail even looks smooth for a race. With that small of a line you would think it would be rutted 5ft deep everywhere.

    Tell me more about this race?? How far apart you take off?? Gas stops?? Part of a series?? Are all the trails this good?
    Is this like government land anyone could ride on?? Just flat out awesome trails!!! Wow

      The Idaho City 100 is a Reliability Enduro format. Checkpoints are placed throughout the course, riders are given a time schedule and need to arrive at each check on time. Early or late and you're penalized. Special Tests are located throughout the course and include both a start and finish. Riders race through special tests in an effort to set the fastest time. At the end of the day your score is composed of all cumulitive special tests + any penalties received at checkpoints. Very different from Hare Scramble racing. Enduros are my favorite discipline of racing. The race is hosted in Idaho City just outside of Boise, ID. Most of the trails are built on Idaho Department of Lands (State trust land) or Forest Service trails/roads. Although some trails do pass through private property. There are endless public trails on Forest Service land. Some of the checkpoints include a gas stop to refuel. Riders are assigned a starting row, there are three riders per row, one row is released onto the course every minute. Yes all the trails are this good.

    Been riding since a kid, 57. I just bought a 22 KTM 300 XCW. Would my bike be good for this style of riding stock? Thank you! Nice skill set. Also how many hours to complete this ride?

    • @ridewiththeknights
      @ridewiththeknights  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome! Yes that would be a great bike for this type of terrain. We rode for about 7 hours on Saturday and 7 hours on Sunday.

    What does transfer section mean??

    • @ridewiththeknights
      @ridewiththeknights  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Transfer sections simply "transfer" you from one check to the next. When riding transfer section you'll maintain a trail pace, when riding in the Special Tests you'll attempt to maintain a "race pace" as fast as possible.
