It was a much needed one to hear.
I had Covid 2 weeks ago, I've been in a very dark place in my life, I told God all of my fears, and my doubts. I asked for His presence to hold me through out my journey. He took me out from that very dark place of worries, anxiety, and fear. I am healed now!

If there is modern psalms, here is one. So similar to some psalms in the Bible. Honesty and longing for God.
Man Jon. This hits so deep with me right now. We lost my Dad and my youngest sister to cancer in late August and early September just ten days apart. My heart has been so broken since then. I have loved your honesty in your music since you began your journey. This song speaks to where my broken heart is right now. The world has just gone crazy and my own creative outlets have fallen like ashes to the floor. I can barely write at this point but I know God is carrying me and my family so I will cling to God's promises and run this race even when I can't see where this is all leading. I just know God is good and that we can weather these storms when we place the burden on His capable shoulders. Please keep allowing God to speak through your songs because you are breathing good things into those of us who are listening.
This song literally made me cry. Rn I'm going thru some difficulties in my life and this walk with God and it helps to know that there is someone else who is pleading for mercy...

I was praying and a friend sent me this song... and it was exactly what I was praying... God is GOOD
2021 has been a doozy of a year for me (and my family). Experienced a house fire which put us in hotels for 4 months, my dad passed away from cancer during that time, then my mom was diagnosed with cancer immediately after his passing, we were able to sell our house after it was all fixed up and bought a “new” house (it’s straight outta the 80s, but it’s a big house on 12 acres so it’s perfect for our family) the house has been the biggest blessing of the year. Jesus has held us through it all. I have shared so much of my doubts and trust in Him and I’m glad I was able to go through this journey. It has strengthened me and drew me closer to Him.

Here after the Texas elementary school shooting. It's the perfect prayer for me right now. I can't stop crying over the lives of the sweet children and teachers lost and I can't help but feel scared when I send my own kids to school.
Jesus is right there waiting for us to turn from sin and turn from our ways and turn to him Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you no matter how you are feeling you can not go by your feelings and emotions they can have you a basket case you have to ask for guidance and trust in Jesus to guide you sometimes you even have to set still and not try to rush but to trust and humble yourself Jesus said there’s 2 foot prints in the sand Jesus is there with a helping hand turn to the cross and leave whatever your dealing with at the cross of Calvary Jesus is the boss Jesus loves you yes but he doesn’t love sin that’s why he stayed on that cross for you and me he could have easily gotten off that cross so remember that he stayed there for you and he will guide you to light if you humble yourself and turn to him none of us are alone trust in Jesus with all your heart he’s waiting on you so don’t wait until it’s to late let’s flood the pearly Gates our real home Jesus loves you

We should respect each other as human beings. But i do believe in the "love the sinner, hate the sin". Semler is fishing for Jon to support in no uncertain words the lifestyle deemed as sinful in the singer's faith.
