Like, Adam was really the first hope humanity really had and now Poseidon is here to stomp out anything left of the rest of humanities hopes of winning. It's dark but it fits. Edit: fixed a typo
my favorite interpretation of the Brothers of Olympus. Zeus - The one that's fast as lighting, strong as thunder. Poseidon - Strikes that feel like a tsunami, his style makes you feel overwhelmed, as if the sea itself attacked you (but no water, I love this)

What I like best about Sasaki vs Poseidon fight is that it captures the essence of Japanese swordsmanship. By strength, speed and millennia of experience, Poseidon clearly outmatched Sasaki - who had lived mere decades. But what Poseidon lacked - and Sasaki possessed - was skill, honed from mind-numbing, torturous training that Sasaki had put himself through continuously during his lifetime. It was with his highly trained mind that Sasaki defeated Poseidon. Poseidon was the stronger warrior - but while he was simply dependent on his natural god-like abilities. But Sasaki was the better duelist - because it was not just his body Sasaki trained, but also his mind (like training his mind to be able to see things in slow motion, make probabilistic calculations, etc.) EDIT: Forgot to add this. About the first line about Japanese swordsmanship, Sasaki represents katanas. The reason katanas have the unique curve is not intentional - they were originally designed to be straight swords. However, Japanese pig iron - tamahagane - has a lot of impurities, which need to be hammered out by the blacksmiths by folding the steel multiple times. This process creates the resultant sword with its unique curve. Comparing Sasaki to Katana felt appropriate, because Sasaki - like Japanese pig iron - had ton of deficiencies, and it took tons of beatings and defeats (including his death), to bring about the perfect God-slayer - which is thematically similar to a Japanese proverb about how the perfect katana can even cut God.
