The type of movie making cinematography I shoot takes a lot longer, and has a lot of frustration associated with it, but yields fruitful results.
Jeff, great stuff here! Your review of the M18 Rocket Light is about the only one worth watching on TH-cam. I will say, not all LED’s are created equal. As a matter of fact, there is a HUGE difference between a cheap LED and a high quality one when it comes to quality of light that it puts out. I would also highly recommend researching color rendering index and how LEDs are rated when it comes to that. A little research on LEDS will really improve subsequent light review. :)
Purchased this light last Christmas and received a free battery and charger. Love this light, it’s been a life saver. $199 but not the rapid charger. I felt like I stole it. ❤️ Forgive me, love your channel and all you do for us.

I have to say that I'm very impressed with this light. Its not perfect but if you really want to splurge they have the other model which runs for about $500 which is insane for DIY users. Overall, it seems like a great light and the DeWalt tower light has a lot of complaints related to poor construction so I think the Milwaukee M18 Rocket light is the only real option. That said, phenomenal video. Very impressed with your level of detail! Cheers!

Had setbacks this week, I got a new ACDelco torque adapter to measure torque and it did not work out of box, so now I'm waiting for a new one to be delivered.
The three heads adjustment in the manual is for the big brother of this light, that one has 3 heads you can adjust separately from each other. Both lights probably share the same manual, cause besides the heads they’re otherwise the same. This is super common for tool manufacturers to do, so I don’t get the confusion in the video. Have you never seen that before? If so how is that possible for a tool review guy?
Most tool manufacturers when they use the same manual for multiple models will list all the models it applies to on the cover. The instructions clearly showed only 2130-20 on the cover, with the drawing of the one head version. So I don’t get your confusion, or the smart alec comment
Wether intentional or not, it’s a very common occurrence to see manuals have instructions for related tools without listing all the specific serial numbers in the manual. If you’re a DIY guy I could understand the comment, as a reviewer I guess I get you adding a bit of humor for content quality. I guess I maybe expected less surprise, or at least a mention that it’s pretty common to see that. As for being a Smart Alec - in the words of Chucky from the show Sons Of Anarchy: “I accept that”.
TrueView is the bee's knees. It makes for accurate color representation. Say you're diffusing a bomb. You're gonna want to make sure you cut the properly colored wires...
I have not measured the color temp on this light, but would prefer it to be the next step up in white color. This looks like 2700k, which is warm white, but a bit too yellow for my preference. I prefer 3000K or higher.
Why do you keep whining about Chinese made products? Go find me a light tower made in the USA, don't just come here with trite worn down bantor about how Chinese tools suck. Show up with the solution in hand.

You are forgetting that these products are stocked in American stores by American workers, and if we all stopped buying them, then the engineers who are U.S. based would lose their jobs. The Marketing employees would lose their jobs. The dewalt version is almost identical to this one , only the dewalt is 3000 lumens. Both do leave the head exposed upward when folded for storage.
The deWalt version does not plug into the wall, but Milwaukee does

The model you are referring to, is the 2nd gen and is dual power as well 3k lumens
