Marche Grustj - Sad March

A few years back I had several of my dear friends from around the world dying and got into a pretty 'low orbit'. There was so much left unsaid - but gradually a tune and the words I had wanted to say condensed in my head and I sketched both down. Having a folk singer and poet like Kostia as a friend, I handed him my English draft plus the tune and he created a Russian masterpiece (..by the reaction of my other Russian friends!). Covid stopped us, but finally we finished a clip. Here it is. It still has some healing power for me, hope it does the same for you out there. With just months or perhaps a year ( or two?) to live, I have nothing more to add.
