Great device for Sega. With Retro Arena custom firmware it improves on stock and Saturn becomes usable with many more games.
Nice to see so much love for Sega. I am happy with Arc-d too, but I have trouble setting up the rewind buttons in retroarch. I can assign the rewind button and rewind the game, but it doesn’t save te settings in retroarch (core override nor Config file). Can you have a test to see of it’s a bug?
I’m excited to get mine. I’ve been waiting to get one of the handhelds until there was a good 6 button layout option. I’ll try some Saturn games but it’ll mainly be used for genesis and other 16 bit 8 bit and handheld stuff to GBA
It could run lots of dreamcast games very well. I think it's limit is shenmue 2. It runs the game, but there's audio clipping when it is busy in the game. I got controllers to connect in the USB c chord, but couldn't get the bluetooth feature to work on lynx. I was actually able to get 3 players going in the battletoads arcade game. This thing is very cool for the price. I am very impressed with it. I just hope it doesn't die from me playing it a lot.
Oh wow ..thanks for the tip ..I'll try to setup Dreamcast on this .. and shenmue was an amazing story ..I never got a chance to play part 2 back then ..but that's going to be my goal now to play it
In two years if this product has a chip in it that's a notch faster than the RG552 so it can run Killer Instinct arcade and F-Zero Gamecube full-speed I will get one. It's not quite there yet.
Saturn is definitely harder to run just like the n64, since they had so many specialized chips in those consoles. The controller issue is probably just the way its assigned in the emulation system, it looks like there using emulation station for the front end. I definitely appreciate anbernic making a sega focused handheld, sega doesn't get that much love unfortunately. I think a single joystick would've made sense for a few games like Nights etc. Either way nice vid!
I'm just can't get my xbox controller to be the 1st player in Saturn games.

So the base one with out the 128 or 256 card still comes with emulators set up and ready to go?
