Man, this ED actually makes me tear up, thinking of what she went through in her previous life being a sheltered princess, then facing down a massive conspiracy intent on setting up her country as evil and Sion as the heroic savior, and all she was put through. But she wrote everything down for posterity, and it ended up giving her a second chance and allowing her younger self to be saved. The idea of her reborn self telling her about how she's been able to fix things and learn, and how it's in large part to her diary is so bittersweet and wonderful.
Just a Princess that grew up at the worst time. Wasn’t some central evil figure. Just caught up in a revolution and suffered more than she deserved to. Thankfully she’s got a chance to save herself.
@@Flaris one of the saddest Thing about Mia's death in the OG timeline was Ludwig, after mia's death Ludwig was offer by Sion to be a minister in the new Goverment however Sion was shocked by his rejection and in the way Ludwig's Eyes saw Sion with Disgust before ludwig vanish forever, this event shocked Sion so much that even when he was a old man he still remember ludwin's eyes and actions begging for Mia to be Spare, this make Sion Question himself for the first time in his life until his death ludwin's eyes tormeted Sion
This is so cute it feels like Mia is having Mia is with having a conservation with her future self saying look we did and how we grow up and changed over a tea party we changed things for the better
This might be my favourite ED of the year. Just such a good song. And it really nails the tragic side of the whole series. Mia wasn't a despot or some grand villainess. She was a spoiled Princess that was ignorant of what was going on around her. Numerous events came together that led to years of cruel imprisonment and then death. It makes redeeming her all the more satisfying because she wasn't really all that bad. Now she's got a chance to save herself.
Mia isn’t a bad person she was ignorant of peoples suffering because of her wealth and didn’t know how to appreciate anything she had until it was taken away from she didn’t know how lucky she was to have good food until she force fed rotten food in her jail cell
She was also undermined at every turn by outside conspirators that were intent on setting Sion up to be the hero and the Empire to be the evil place that needed a revolution. She never really had a chance.
Watching this rn and I absolutely love the symbolism of this ending. It starts with her older self in a "coffin" boat, at the end of her life and sailing to a reincarnation, then a wish, and her younger self, the happiest she was in her life, is there with her, and brings a calm joy to her then the diary, representing her suffering, regrets. And the heavens (that Anne prayed to) answering like "you have one chance to make things right for you" And then the beautiful scene of her older self "trading" places with her younger self, and younger self seeming to have an expression of "I entrust you" and finally, the coffin boat is replaced with her younger self concious; her older self now set to relive the past just my crak theory but I love it
The coffin boat having the diary that will save her next to her makes me think it's them kinda combined and sailing into reincarnation together. It feels like the young self is the one in charge, with only a few flash memories provided by the previous life, but mostly relying on the book.
To remember everything happened today. I journal every experience, whether it’s good or bad. It’s my only life, gotta seize the day. You never know the importance of something. Until it’s too late and out of sight. Every beginning is for a happy ending. Dear moons, I won’t just pray! I’ll stand on my feet, won’t sway. Sweet moons, not just a shiny stone! I swear I’ll find sweet joy in a future sky blue and clear! I am, Queen of the Night!
This visual is so stunning, the starry cosmos, the lake that reflects it, Mia's ornate boat, and how she picked a star is it was shooting across the sky. I also enjoy the implications that this is what happened in between Mia's death and waking up in the past, that she met with her former self and despite that version of her being at her most selfish the younger Mia still decided to give up herself so that her older self could right the future wrongs she would commit.
I mean, TBH it still feels 100% like younger Mia is still the one in charge and didn't sacrifice herself. She's still got a lot of her princess brattiness that didn't get tortured out of her at the end, and she only gets flashes of her previous life's memories and mostly relies on the diary for guidance, so it's not like her previous life's soul replaced hers or anything IMO, she might be along for the ride in the background though. The final image of the younger self with the book next to her in the coffin boat sailing into reincarnation to me solidifies that.
This ending, the song and the visuals are beautiful and also sad. it kind of makes me tear up but with a smile. The song represents Mia beautifully. and the visual makes me feel a bit sad, even though it wasn't totally her fault, Mia was punished with death. But she got a second chance. Under the starry sky on the table Past and Future Mia meets, while Future Mia is surprised seeing the past Mia with her, she is happy that she has got another chance to save herself and her empire and on the boat, Mia future self gives the Past Mia a chance. a chance to redeem herself and change the future. Cant wait for 2nd season. While the opening is fun and comedic, the ending is deep and serene. It is beautiful.
Nunca Brinco el Ending Porque es Muy Lindo. Como si la Mia Renacida le Contara a su yo del Futuro que no se Preocupe que Está Arreglando Bien los Eventos Negativos que la Llevaron a su Ejecución.
I just wish Sion doesn’t end up with Mia in the new timeline, he gave her a harsh punishment when she only bullied Tiona and some mates like Annie, and es ignorant to the the needs of the people, not all of the empire problems where her fault, the punishment wasn’t equitable for her mistakes , in a certain way was unjust , and he didn’t stop killing the ones he thought were “villains “ just for him to turn into a real villain, at the point that everyone forgot about him in his deathbed.

It really is! I think this song portrays that very well though- Probably better than the show itself.
i like how the opening represents mias personality and how she sees herself
while the ending is her inner strength and motivation to change destiny
This probably is the best ED of the season, I can't/never skip it & even when it ends I still have the urge to hear it again 😊
Love the ED. I am so sad for Mia in the first timeline... she was a brat, but not deserving of that :(
Mia is only a brat in the original time line because no one ever gave her anyone limits on what she could be given as a princess
Just a Princess that grew up at the worst time. Wasn’t some central evil figure. Just caught up in a revolution and suffered more than she deserved to.
Thankfully she’s got a chance to save herself.

@@raelovesbooks3010the point is that she didn't deserve that they blamed her for everything but her only sin was being ignorant

Love how the ending… cuz of boat carrying soul to somewhere but somehow she got lucky to grab the wish star and get chance to get back to fix it again
I hope we someday get to see grown up Mia. She's so pretty.

Oh, that's a nice theory. I love the rueful fondness with which she looks at her younger self.
The ending song, Queen of the Night, is just enchanting! 🌙✨

Novel reader here. Simon will not be with Mia.
If Mia has anything to say about it she will end up with Abel.
And keep in mind she is a gloriously selfish princess. It's her charm.

Kalite
She’d look way better without lipstick
I actually like the lipstick. It makes her look more mature.
It’s not good. I caught Miaitis.
I'm sorry to say it is incurable. But luckily you can live a long and happy life.
