You should know by now how the Royals lose:
Low scoring game, small lead in to the 6th or 7th.
Bullpen takes over, opponents dominate and get a big lead.
Two outs early in the 9th, then they start hitting everything until they are one hit from a tie or a win, and then they lose.
Id too I was there and I couldn't believe it. We had our rally caps on and I was screaming at the top of my lungs to get the crowd hyped up.

From Stammen, to Luis Garcia, to now Kolek. For every baseball team, there will always be that one person who'll blow a 9 run lead. Thank GOD Suarez got that save. Thank GOD we scored 9 run and thank GOD for Luis Arraez being a Padres. A lovely win with that horrible horrible performance from Luis Garcia 3.0. Nevermore and go back to Seattle!

What about being a royals fan? 2014-2015 was lightning in a bottle. We can’t develop pitching to save our lives. Bullpen guys with fastballs with no movement and walk a lot of batters.

OMG just watched the highlights - incredible game to the last out!! And this is what we have been saying….basic baseball scores the runs. I think all of those runs were the result of keeping the ball in the yard.

I’m a Jays fan from Toronto and my whole life I’ve been saying, draft and develop position players who are athletes and that can hit and just sign veteran “proven” inning eating pitchers. That’s exactly what K.C did this year and it’s paying off. They have 2 of the better hitters in the league (Witt and Perez) hitting in the middle of the lineup. Seems like in 2024 every team has pitching and defence but, only a few teams have pitching, defence and hitting. K.C is not a fluke this year and as long as they stay healthy should compete for the division.
