After watching the other teams vs Padres ( Im a San Diegian ) and first time seeing AZ of this season ( didnt watch last AZ series ) they are the worst Fielding Defensive team Ive seen. Its likely in the stats as well of being at bottom. Too obvious of seeing every game of AZ errors. The players ALL LOOK like Non defensive types, period ) But back to Padres, if team get their hitting and pitching coaches better with in game scouting, Pads can get a double digit Win streak going ( Have yet to see this of a few years now ) The key will be keeping Bogoerd or Bogoart, or Booger away from coming back as he was the key for more wins of him having the most ROB ( runners on bases ) at the Plate but 80% he had no RBIs and his best during ROB were sacrifices. He finally got HOT when media started to call him out of a 3 game stretch, only to get injured but the injury could be the team's alternative key of having a few players from bench or the farm , show if team will need Bogaert or Bogart back, which likely be the case due to Front Office favoring him to not fail his big money contract. Only his fans hate this take but Im one of many of this view on him.
Wins like this aren’t impressive at all. It’s the close games that really matter. If they can’t strategize properly to win the 1-0 and 2-1 games they won’t have a chance of advancing through the post season
