Please HELP Is there any option to disable Player collisions on a forge server? I switched from a paper server and was able to disable it through config but there seems to be no option on forge.
I am, like, 10 months late, but I've done all the steps you did, but my RAM allocation isn't changing! I have it set to a max of 6 GBs, but it's still stuck on the default of 256MBs and my poor server can't even launch lol. Do you have any suggestions or ideas that might explain how I can fix this?
You can add a minimum ram, which is Xms instead of Xmx, you can place something like this: "-Xmx8G -Xms4G" That will set the max RAM to 8GB and the min to 4GB

Searching for "Java 18 download" should bring you to the right place. If you were to search "Java Download", you'll probably be directed to Java version " 8 ", which WILL NOT WORK for this tutorial.

The only thing I noticed you didn't mention is in the server config you need to put your public IP in "server-ip=", if you did mention it I could of missed it but that's the only thing I noticed that wasn't mentioned (I've ran more servers in the past just need a refresher as it's been a few & remembered that detail)
Im pretty sure it isn't needed as of now, I remember it being a step way back then but when I made my server 2 days ago I forgot to do that and we've had 0 problems conecting somehow.

guys i found the solution to the issue you get when you open the batch file and it says that it can't find a file. what you want to do first is download the latest version of java, (if you havent) and secondly you will have to run forge 1.19 at least once before starting the batch file. if you have any other issue's you can comment on this comment, I always check my notifications.

theres usually a mod folder where you can put the Mods that are working with your Forge / Minecraft Version in. But I would always do an Backup from the Server because some Mods could destroy your World if they change anything too much

@@bluefe4r558 I did its a result of the java your running being out of date and not a compatible version. All you have to do is get the latest version.
