Wow! Absolutely fantastic! I wonder if the folks at Black Magic Design will ever add a built-in audio visualizer to Studio. Or perhaps even make it a bit easier by including an option to modify it with an MP3 instead of having to convert to MIDI. In the meantime, this is a brilliant, beautiful solution!
thank you very much, i am a noob and it helped me a lot.Only problem, the wave and the bars are not smooth as yours and it is laggy even after rendered the video, anybody have a clue?
Hi! Thank you for the video. I can download and just use it? I've found reactor but it's too hard for me to use, All I need is a simple ready template like this that I can just put my sound in and get the visualization out. Thanks!
Midi files are the ones converted from your own music/audio files, you can check the previous video to see how you can do that: th-cam.com/video/W5oJFvg2m9c/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I have a problem with my audio frames length. When I play the audio in the timeline, it has the normal length but in Fusion its like 1/3rd of what it should be, causing my visualizer to be out of sync and stop midway. Any idea how to fix this?
Sorry to hear that, it's hard to tell. You may have to check the Midi file, or try to split the music, try it part by part and then put them back together in the timeline.
The result from a Midi extractor can be used on any numeric input parameters, such as size. Is this something similar to what you are looking for? th-cam.com/video/W5oJFvg2m9c/w-d-xo.html&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE&t=598

Thank you! I also hope Blackmagic can offer the visualizer feature or support mp3.
finally without any plugins and external links to be downloaded. Thankyou it worked.
That's great to hear, thank you!

Yes, you can simply download the template and use it in DR, it uses the builtin fusion MIDI extractor node to visualize the Midi ouput.
Impressive! Won't have an immediate use for this but here to support.
Awesome, thanks!
3rd video showing the exact same technique.
Great video mate just a question would it be possible to rap this around the shape of a pill 💊
It should be possible, make the displacement map a radial gradient, and displace a circle line.
@Essential Video Editing thanks will try it to morro

What do you use for text to speech and where do you get the voice you use?
I use edge browser "Read Aloud" feature.
As difficult as it seems, I have been looking for something without having to use a third party app. Can't wait to try it out! Thanks!
but You have to insert midi file. And what if You have no midi, only wave?
You can find some online free midi converters to convert wave or mp3 to midi.
Thank you as always!!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you, but I did every step and then I got a too fast line and not as slow and smooth as yours.
Thanks.

You are most welcome!
_Very nice explanation!_

THANK YOU!!! Great! 👍
You are welcome! Cheers!
what if file of wav is more then 50mb ? like for a podcast ?
I think can split the file into smaller ones, or convert to mp3 format, which helps to reduce the file size.
@@EssentialVideoEditing hmm can you use mp3 ? what i understand you only can use wav file
@fatjay9402 yes, I use mp3 on their website to convert
There is also a free plugin that allows Wav files directly in resolve ;)

@@EssentialVideoEditing Thanks, is there a chance you planing to add new Essential template for that Midi extractor effect to your pack?
@@Trendish_channel That's a good idea. I'm currently working on an animation template, this can be included as one of the animation types.
