I did not use gaiters. That was a mistake! Most days I had to remove my boots and pour out trail leaves and dirt. I remember all the old type gaiters and they made my feet to hot. These dirty girl gaiters are the real deal!
My wife gets pebbles in her shoes and boots non-stop whether out on the trail or just walking in the city. I ordered a pair for her to try. I know this is an old video, but thanks for the tip!

My new Altra Lone Peak 4 high tops have the Velcro already on the heel for attachment for the Dirty Girl Gaiters.
I love these for mountain biking. They stay on great and keep the schmutz out of my shoes while I'm riding.

Have you had any problem with the Velcro coming unglued from your sneakers?
