It would have been helpful to see the belt on The Lonestar Patriot. Does the loose end make it to his first belt loop? My guess is yes, but I'd like to see how far past the first belt loop the belt goes (if at all) while he's carrying.
Because of the polymer the hole spacing is actually closer than a typical belt. I have been using the El Empresario (more of a dress belt at 1 1/4") and have found it to be very usable and comfortable. Just my two cents.

Where did you get the belt on sale?
It was purchased from Primary Arms.
