Yoga pants... Brett immediately with the, "Uhum, uhum, uhum, uhum, uhum" 🤣
Roxy, you are a saint❤
Grammy & Poppo are lucky to have a Granddaughter like you. I hope you’re able to find someone they both like to fill the position asap 😊
Not a saint but try to be a good granddaughter at the very least :)
AMC A-List is the best way to get the most cinematic bang for your buck

"They call that Wonking" and it goes completely unnoticed. 😂
The main reason I don’t personally go to as many movies nowadays is because I know it’s gonna be available on digital in like a month, sometimes less. Back in the day, if you missed a movie in theater, you wouldn’t be able to see that movie at home for like 6 months.
Seeing a good movie in the theaters is well worth the money but I feel you. Like I’d be kicking myself if didn’t see Dune 2 in IMAX
I will miss this live interaction, I really will. It's just video magic.
Agree with Roxy, money is tight for a lot of people (gas, food, rent etc), and the audiance who used to go to the movies twice a month, might only now go once every 2-3 months. This means the audiance will instead save their money until a movie comes out that feels like an event like Deadpool, over the likes of Fall Guy.
I have a job at Applebees and I earn money and I use that for my school and seeing movies and I’ll be seeing Garfeild in a few weeks
I think the movie ticket itself isn't the problem but it's all the food and drinks that people get at the theater.
Yeah, makes sense. But it felt like Fall Guy was going to be an event film, but turns out I was way wrong. Lol
@@peteparker22yeah. Ticket prices seem to be only really expensive in major cities. It’s the food that really gets ya. People should just not buy food at a theater.
It wouldn't be that way if orange man was elected. It's because "they" stopped drilling oil here in America and print out billions to send to Ukraine and Israel. Every time they do that the value of the dollar gets worse and worse. If things don't change this election everyone is screwed
Really hope for roxxy’s well being! May all the pieces come together
Roxy confessing her love for trash tv was hilarious 😂
I’ve kind of grown annoyed at people who say we need original then when Hollywood does an original movie it bombs cuz those same people don’t see it lol.
You need to convince them to come see the movie and that’s with good marketing. Making an original film is just part of the battle.
How do you know those same people are not seeing the original movies you say they are crying for?
It is really frustrating, most of aprils movies were cool movies but few saw them.
@@slugerama Because those people are the general audience, and if a movie bombs because its the general audience didn't show up. The only people that moan about there not being enough original movies don't go to the movies because if they did they were know that there are PLENTY of original movies coming out already.
Hacks is great. I am glad Roxy highlighted it.
Hope you’re doing alright Roxy sending prayers your way!
The reason why I trust Peter Jackson is obviously LOTR trilogy and reason more after The Hobbit movies, they released Blu Ray where he himself said ‘’Well it just didn’t go as planned, I didn’t have much time in preproduction’’. Where he earned my respect so much more. He is not too proud to say as Kathleen Kennedy and J.J. Abrams ‘’no, everything is great, everything turned out as we hoped for, everybody love it’’. He learned on his mistakes, and I hope studio learned also not to rush.
In PJ I trust!!!!
Peter knows the hobbit was a travesty, and I still loved the movies. Give him the proper pre production time and he'll make bangers. He knows this world, and actually respects the lore rather than rings of power
The one caution here is that Peter Jackson isn't directing, so I don't know if just being a producer the lessons learned will fully transfer to Serkis @lordofthebricks1
56:54 - hit the nail on the head. When I was a teenager in the late 90s and early 2000s, I would love going out to the movies almost every month with family or friends. It feels like teenagers now prefer to stay at home much more on the phones or playing video games than going out. Of course video games existied 25 years ago, but they were not as engrossing or had the same reach as today.
I think you're right. Going to the movies probably isn't as big of a regular thing as it used to be.
26:04 Roxy & Big Balls🔥
Massive Lotr fan, the best triology ever IMO, but I also wonder how much more story we need or want about Gollum. Maybe I’ll be wrong and it’ll be great. A lot of stuff I enjoy are things I didn’t see coming or think I would and maybe this’ll be the same.
1:01:29 love how animated Roxy got. Studios need to stop hiring TikTokers to cover red carpets
I wonder what would've happened if that was a bigger star like Ryan Reynolds or Ryan Gosling. I would hope Reynolds would embarrass him.
Yeah actor should've politely told that bag to f off.
@eleventhcubfan when they mentioned it on Merri Hour, I didn't want to give it a view, but found an article post about it. The most annoying part is apparently that's the whole bit of that tik toker. He goes up to people and starts talking then goes into mumbling. So the studio invited him knowing exactly what they would get
Hah, I just posted a comment on this as well. I could feel Roxy's seething rage at the idiot, too, b/c I felt it while I was hearing it unfolding.
I don't like to see Roxy suffer... but, there's something about the sheer "I'm so over it" eye rolling Roxy does any time BB shows up that I love it. I can't explain it, I know I would likely be just as annoyed, but I also don't want it to stop. Sorry, Roxy! 😂
Great points about movie going. There are multiple factors leading to the cumulative outcome:
There used to be 60 movies a year with maybe 20 doing great and 20 doing ok; that's not going to necessarily translate to 40 doing great and 40 doing ok just because 120 started coming out, much less, 180, we may just get 30/40/50 then 30/40/110.
Then there's not as long a wait for most of them to be caught on streaming, so people are going to be selective (especially to justify keeping their streaming service with prices going up).
For those who don't have a lot of disposable funds for entertainment, they're going to be selective.
Roxy is 100% right about the roast, people are shitting on it too much. I thought Hart did a great job MCing, and the way he roasted/handled Gronk after he smashed the shot glass.
The comedians all did great, Bledsoe did well, it was overall a success for sure.
I want a big balls special! He’s the best! 😂
Hacks is awesome, love that show
Yaay! Shows with Roxy and Brett are my favourite. I’m keeping my hopes up for the new LOTR movie. We could use some good LOTR content after that amazon series. 😂
You guys Met Gala'd Roxy good this ep!
For real
The ending to this video has me dying of laughter. Wild banter between you three. Love it 🤣
Hacks is one of the best
Baby Reindeer is INCREDIBLE!!!
Dylan O’Brien is really good in “Love and Monsters” and “The Outfit”.
Put the vlog here please 😭 studio tour!!! 🫶🏽
my friend group wanted to see a few movies, but they left theaters so fast we couldn't go together
Roxy is incredibly important to this show, in my opinion.
I loved how Roxy opened the show lots of seemingly random, species defining inquiries
I just hope this new Lord of the Rings movie is better than Rings of Power.
Totally different companies so I am sure.
Roxy going after Kristian for saying 4 when he meant 3 or having finished X-Men when he hadn't as revenge for Kristian jabbing her for her hyperbolic talk just gives off big brother hassling little sister and vice versa, love it 😄
I love Kristian's dirty chipmunk 😂
I think the tricky part with cameras is that they are expensive for a single person to purchase all on their own, but if there was a way to crowd source it so that 50 people could chip in 5 or 10 or even 20 or whatever, I bet it'd get taken care of.
Rhone angers me.
Me, a big and Tall fella: "Breathable, stretchable fabric, you say? Yes please!"
Rhone: Waist sizes up to 40.
Me, still tall and fat: Guess not then...
29:07 I have been so busy with becoming a dad so I haven’t watched the show in months and I could not stop laughing on this conversation why was this even brought up lmao 🤣 I’m back in now
I know it was a one off but I’m digging the longer Kristian intros. Serves as a good lead in.
1:03:09
Roxy: He does carpets?
Bret:
A sweet one liner would have been great. 🤣
Fall Guy - saw it 3 times, awesome flick
I think it's great. I trust Jackson more than Disney or Marvel and absolutely love Gollum
Props to BigDawsTV - respectful pranks that's why people like him.
The mumbling guy on the Red carpet, those clips are fuckin hilarious!! I strongly disagree withbyall on that one... you have to watch MORE of those clips cause 90% of the time all of the actors laugh and understand the bit. You guys weren't feeling it AT ALL, and that's fine... but I love those videos. It's all playful fun.
Love you guys 4 ever lol
I can't wait for the new Lord of the Rings movies. I loved The Hobbit movies, I can't to continue the journey of middle earth.
Roxy 🎉Rocks my world! 🌎
Let’s goooo
I’m in a minority as I’m not a LOTR fan but after the work Peter Jackson did on “Get Back” I wish he’d focus on restoring the history of the Beatles that’s on film.
Hey Kristian: just to let you know, digitizing a VHS tape is easy and inexpensive.
My concern for the hunt for Gollum , is what are the stakes for this movie? We know from the of the fellowship of the ring that Gandolf does not find Gollum and he instead gets captured by Sauron. So we already know what is going to happen.
Also, there is an expectation from the audiance, that a Lord of the rings movie has big action and a huge sprawling story. I dont know how they will achive this from the plot details we have.
Well we new what was going to happen in the Star Wars prequels and new how they would end. Oh. Yeah. You make a great point. This might not be very good.
Huge fan of LOTR. The hobbit movies I'll never watch again and I tried diff fan edits. Never watched the amazon series. I'm basically out.
@@ichigen511 Exactly,! at least with the star wars prequels, there was the clone wars going on so there were some big battles. I dont think much was going on in middle earth during the time this gollum movie takes place..
I think Jenn took time off After Passengers with Chris Pratt
“Three episodes of GoT” 😂
You hear how they Gala'd our girl Roxy! Those sonsabitches can't get away with this! No one Gala's our Roxy!
Been having a helluva met gala day, TBT is a good antidote to it so thanks.
Hey roxy you should watch faarzi and heeramandhi
I definitely choose which films I’ll see in theaters over wait for streaming do to the economy it either has to be a must watch for me or highly recommend
🥰 to Roxy...
❤
Think Apes going beat Furiosa. I don't really care about Met Gala though I think Zendeya and Tyla look great. Not a Tom Brady fan so I wouldn't watch the Roast anyway. Katt Williams is funny and much worth watching. Questioning Roxy tv recommendations some are good except reality shows. Everyone I know seems broad statement but hilarious joke with Brett & Kristian. Waiting find out if Parish is good.
I know Dylan O'Brien from the movie Love and Monsters. Really cute movie, but it was forced into a VOD release by the lockdown and I feel like nobody saw it.
Oh yeah Golem is gonna be the new Joker
28:42 Anything 😂 we are simple
Gollum movie about Aragorn and Gandalf trying to find gollum before Sauron to verify bilbos ring is the one ring. Takes place between hobbit and LOTR.
ROXY!! catch up on Sugar??? so curious to know your take on it with the recent episode !!!
I am caught up
How are birds getting in there? Lol is a door open?
Kinda wish he had a few more films as a director. His Jungle book and Carnage, and was 2nd unit director on the hobbit films are ok. Hopefully it's a joint effort with Jackson being more hands on than a normal producer like Spielberg was with Hooper on Poltergeist.
56:47 … It’s Generation {x-1}.
Hacks season one was hilarious but I got behind!
Durst with the glasses in court looks just like Junior in the Sopranos.
I am beyond excited for Gollum
I feel like the Ungentlemanly Warfare movie came out in theaters about two weeks ago and it's already available for digital.
Spare me your Met Gala.
It's awesome to see peter Jackson and Andy serkis involved I think if they stick to a reasonable budget use real locations for the settings and have a compelling story to tell it should be great here's hoping
Yeesssss! I hope its as good as the Gollum video game!
man so cool this must be the Hunt from Aragorn and Gandalf to find Gollum....:)
LOL - how about you m'fer?!? Love it!!
He pulls no punches.
For my family of four to go to the movies, here in Australia, just for the tickets it cost $96 ($64us) . The snacks would cost us $92, popcorn and a drink each.
For us it's the cost of things we are more selective about what we go and do. Even though we both make really good money. Every time we swipe the card we didn't realize how much we were spending until she looked at the account. Then she compared two years ago on old bank statements damn!! Shit go crazy!
Hope you’re doing okay Roxy. Your look like you’re going through some shit. Much love…
She got GALA'D!
Met gala
Hunt Sounds like he's on the hunt to get his precious back 🙏🙏👍
True
oh no, Sydney, blonde is best
❤you all
My initial Roxy takeaway from the start of the video: if a guy shows up on a first date in gray sweatpants, he is in!
Also, I think the best stand-up comedians really lean into their neurosis, and the funniest women comics neurosis seem to not lend themselves to successful relationships.
Seemed like Roxys picks went so quick today and that alot of stuff was maybe edited out. Didnt really even hear Brents take on any of her picks
A few corrections if I may: The original Fall Guy was on in the 80s, not the 70s. Dylan O'Brien's injury wasn't from a motorcycle accident. It was from the opening action scene in Maze Runner 3. He got hit by the pickup truck when it flipped forward after he jumps on the back of the train. Filming shut down for months so he could recover. And Brett's kids are absolutely Gen Z, his son more so. His daughter is near the cusp of Gen Alpha, but she's not. Anyway, going back to Fall Guy, again it has nothing to do with young people watching Tiktok. They still go to the movies as much as anyone else, at least from what I've seen. They just weren't interested in that particular film, apparently. And again, all the tornadoes going on in the mid-west likely kept some people from going to the movies last weekend as well. However, we seem to be on the same page about the ridiculously short release window between theaters and home viewing. I think that's the biggest problem aside from the bloated budgets. It's conditioning people not to go to the theater and these studios need to knock that shit off if they know what's good for them. They're shooting themselves in the ass. As for that Gollum movie, I don't know. I would need to see a trailer, but I'm leaning towards it not being necessary. But hey, if it gets made, I'll go see it. And the only one of Roxy's TV picks I like is Milf Manor. That's a wild show lol. Speaking of Roxy, what's going on with her nympho neighbor? We still haven't heard the latest with her.
The Fall Guy was a series in the early eighties Kristian.
Thought so, thanks
@@TheKristianHarloffthis is dissapoint to me id love to see akallabeth adaption on the screen intro like forging of Rings downfall of numenor war of last alliance you know that would be much better than gollum solo movie but to each thier own
Yeah it's lack of money in general for my pick to go to movies now days. So Apes wins over Fall Guy and on par, still to decide, with Furiosa. As far as Lord of Rings follow up movie, well with those people behind it I got to have faith. Although the actual premise of the hunt for Gollum, not sure?
If a girl gets our jokes even if a few connections have to be made, and they know the connections so your not explainkilling the joke that's an almost perfect girl, but if a girl can do the same it's a wrap.
the final episode of x-men 97 is next week, 10 episodes in all
Kristian, I would be careful if I were you, Private Roxy is gonna go all, Full Metal Jacket on you one of these days for heckling her.
Roxy: Kristian... I *am* in a world of shit.
😅
The Tom Brady roast was amazing. Kevin Hart was a great host. I hope Netflix does more roasts in the future!
Except he laughs at his own jokes ALOT.
Why did I have the impression the fall guy was rated R? Maybe other people thought that too and avoided it (like with kids)
I mainly go to see smaller movies at the cinema. It's a choice I made since only last year. Why? Those movies have the balls to show you some crazy shit and takes risks. It's usually something unique and surprising. A gift is a lot more fun when its a surprise and something you wanted! (Also usually has big stars or upcoming stars great casting)
I'm kind of tired of the big, over the top action, goofy comedy type movies. The only action movies I watch these days in theatres are Christopher Nolan movies, Tom Cruise movies, James Bond and John Wick. Maybe a Liam Neeson movie.
Challengers and Poor Things were the perfect examples of this for me. Challengers was a special movie to me.
Gandalf: "I looked everywhere for the creature gollum, but the enemy found him first" - There, just saved Warner Brothers $150m and the audiance a $15 movie ticket. Seriously though, there is already The Hunt for Gollum fan movie that cost only $5,000 , I dont know why we need a big budget version of a very small side quest.
The baby rain-dear show over here in the UK the lady who it’s meant to be about went on
piers Morgan and talked about it go watch the interview it’s crazy
A David Zaslav backed Embracer Group produced lord of the rings movie does not sound an appealing proposition.
David gets booed at college graduation ceremonies
I was about 20 minutes in when I realized Kristian wasn't bringing in Roxy or Brett
* Am now reminded why I don't always comment before the video is over 🤟
I remember Roxy from the Challenge after show things.
Cool!
people need to seriously stop using the "everybody is broke" excuse for the fall in movie attendance. long before streaming was a thing ticket sales were declining. and now that movies no longer have a captured audience that have to go to theaters, of course people would choose the more convenient option. as an example, i saw The Firm when it was on netflix. it was a fine movie, i enjoyed it. it made $270 million in 1993. if it came out today it would have absolutely flopped in theaters
