what a progression 💪 keep it up! 🔥 the most humble person we ever met! Looking forward to seeing where this journey takes you 😊
Same! I’ll get there next time!
What's so scary about high-diving is that one, tiny mistake can really bring about catastrophe. Your ability to overcome your fears is really awe-inspiring. I'm glad that you're safe, and it's great to see you back posting content. I can't believe that you're almost to two millions subs!
Edit: I've been watching your content a long time, and one thing that I can tell from you sharing your experiences is that you're a decent human being. If that comes across on film, I know that it's tangible to those in your life. Anyone who knows you would know that you didn't do anything to intentionally harm Ellie, and unlike most, you realized your mistake, and you owned it. I think that Ellie would be worse off for ending your friendship, b/c even if it caused her to have a more difficult road in the interim, she's intelligent enough to know that a lifelong friendship w/ you would provide benefits that would vastly outweigh any negatives.
Yes, it really is such a dangerous sport if not taken seriously. And I can’t believe it either!
And I really appreciate the kind words. I try very hard to just be honest in my videos, however that may come out. And she does understand everything. Life just has a way of being hard and complicated and it’s never black and white. There is no ill will between us, but sometimes space and time is still needed.
You have a way of film making that can be so raw and emotional. Thank you for sharing your journey! You gave a truly caring heart Jake!
Aw thank you! To me that’s the only way I know how
Jake - your genuine character has always shown in your videos. We all make mistakes, you’ve taken accountability and will do better in the future and that is what matters. Thank you for vulnerability and be sure to give yourself some grace. ❤
Phew. That had my heart racing.
True friendship is friendship through the good and bad. You weren’t intentionally trying to cause harm. ❤️
Jake, you are so courageous, not just for the diving but sharing your journey when it’s not always a pretty ending. You are so inspirational. Thank you for being vulnerable on film. You are amazing.
Thank you so much!
What a beautiful vid. There are a lot of emotions in any competitive format. thank you for letting us in. we all can see in your eyes and from following you for a while knowing your heart that you truly didnt want or mean to cause her stress or problems. I hope that she knows this now. Continue chasing your dreams and let your heart shine! Much Love
Appreciate the kind words thank you so much. She does know!
You’re constantly killing it and upping your TH-cam game. In past videos you’ve mentioned how building your TH-cam career is important to you. Keep grinding, these videos are well shot, edited, and some solid story telling. Keep going my G!
Dang Jake! We don’t see you for months and then you give us this! That was allot of emotions to share so openly. Ellie is a master at what she does. It takes time. You got this! ✌️
It took a lot of time to process and be able to present the experience in a way that felt right. it also took a very long time to film aha. more time and money then ive ever put into a single video before.

Such a great video Jake!!! Thanks for sharing the epic wins, and even the occasional mistakes.
Just glad to see you sticking with the sport🙌
Always!
So Proud of you Jake for growing as a Man! Much love and support brother.
thank you!
Nervous shits are the worst, especially when you know what they are and then psych yourself out. Kudos for pushing through it.
Thanks for uploading the video, even if it was difficult being so vulnerable. Videos like these which embrace and move past failures are unbelievably inspirational; it creates such honesty which highlights the active struggle in the pursuit of a goal.
Dude, great job putting this together. Thank you for working your butt off on this and sharing!
You are amazing. Thank you for sharing your progress with us. You are an inspiration.
Thank you so much!
You're amazing Jake.
No YOU are!
One of the best and honest TH-cam videos I have ever seen, I fallow you since couple of years ago and you have become one of my favorite persons in TH-cam, one of the reasons is because you are so genuine. I admire you and I´m sure you will achieve your goal in this sport. Such a beautiful video!!
Aw thank you for your support!
yes, finally!!! I've been waiting for this video since the short came out 🔥🔥🔥
You never fail to make me smile and happy when I watch your videos I love them so much. I can tell you put a lot of effort into your them also. You are one of my favorite TH-camrs by far keep up the good work Jake! Don’t let others bring you down either. (Your smile is contagious).😊
Awe thank you! I appreciate the kind words
good job.very confident.
I'm sorry things did not work out the way you had planned but be kind to yourself. You have a great channel and super content. You seem like a kind, genuine, sincere person.....keep your chin up.
Thank you. I was struggling at the time of filming and especially those first few days after it all went down. I’m definitely doing better now
Great piece mate 🫶🫶
appreciate it dude!
You’re awesome thanks for the inspiration man
Jake you don't have a malicious bone in your body. You never set out to hurt Ellie with the video, had you known the effect it would have you would never have put it out. It hurts to see you so upset, but it just proves the fantastic person you really are. Keep practicing, hopefully you will be able to put the video out of you competing in Red Bull diving very soon.
Good afternoon Jake I hope you are having an amazing day so far. I really enjoyed watching this video it was amazing you are truly an amazing person. I love how open and honest you were in this video I am so proud of you for learning clip diving ❤😁🙌🏻
Jake is such a great guy!, loved this video
highdiving suits you so much, loving the steeze! go on jake
Come on man, we love you! ❤Keep sharing your journey, thanks for all the good time you gave us xx
Loved to watch this!! I started diving a couple months ago myself and even though I am so so far from your skill it’s so relatable with the fear & respect of these heights! - and also how this sport is kinda addicting, haha! Can’t wait to see more of your diving! 🌊
I didn’t know you were getting into diving! It’s sooo fun
I’ve been anticipating this!
That was an incredible video! 😮❤
As a huge fan of highdiving and someone who always strives to get better at this sport I really related to a lot of this and it was huge fun seeing you send it! 🔥
Unfortunate that it did not exactly work out the way you wanted it to, but thats just the sport... You'll get it next time ❤
appreciate it thank you!
1000% your best video!!
I think so too!
Mistakes happen man it’s alright you live and you learn. Good work Jake keep going!
Hi Jake, you are awesome, if you ever pass by Taiwan while on tour, we definitely gotta keep in touch. Love the journey, the result is just a part of it. You can be proud of yourself.
Thank you! I’d love to visit one day!
Believe in yourself, we believe in you!!!
I love your videos, Jake. Your mindset and mental approach is such an inspiration for me.
(Never thought I'd say something this cheesy in my life but what can you do 😃)
awe thank you!
Your leg split at the branny freaked me out every time. Okay just the 1st 3 days. After the training I felt way more comfortable. When I closed my hands together the force of the twist pulled my legs apart on a high dive, and it felt like my sack was ripped open.
Honestly same. It’s a bad habit from tricking where I would open the leg to swing thru. But for diving I had to focus on really keeping them together.
What a great story and very honest video
Thank you!
Cool 😎
I know you didn't mean to hurt her Jake
ur back!
So crazy that you jumped the 27m it’s insane without years of experience
To be fair I have a bit more of a background than most
So we’ll edited…it gave me feelssssss
Absolute W video
U didn’t know they was gone take it that way u jus wanted to show u was serious
Funny how when I'm good with trampwall stuff, this was gonna be my next activity and here he is 😂
Do it! It’s so fun)
HOLY F*CKING F*CKKK I WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED. 🤢 I AM NERVOUS JUST WATCHING!! Damn dude, you absolutely crushed it!!
I mean I was definitely terrified quite a few times aha
@@Hingaflips well I am glad you’re a human- sometimes you have me fooled! I think you’ll progress and do even better in the future- your commitment and drive levels are insanely high and I envy that. Keep your chin up, dude. You seem like a great person and would not mean harm intentionally. Like you said- people come and go and it sucks but it’s just the way things work sometimes! Thanks for the response! I had to watch the whole video over again 😂
Holy shit Jake!
Sorry, wrote this early in the video. It just wrapped, and I think this was tastefully done, given the life that happened.
Thank you. Was probably the most delicate editing I’ve ever had to do.
I think professional organizations are fully aware of these TH-cam channel trends of learning something to perform on an expert level in a very short period of time, and it can become a dangerous liability to give into the social media influence and allow them to do it.
It also sends a bad message, that you can expect to, although work hard to train something, be able to perform in a large professional arena to thousands of people, in a very short period of time.
But most people can't. Just wealthy content creators with social media power can.
They have enough wealth and influence to book an arena to have a boxing match, or whatever and get an opponent that is also a big social content creator. And Box for the first match ever in front of thousands of people.
Or dive on Red bull platforms that people spend years training for, and have to compete with every other person training to be chosen.
And I totally understand their point of view with that. That was one of the reasons discussed.
And again I obviously still respect their wishes but do want to offer my counterpoint which is… I’m not just a TH-camr. I’ve spent a decade training acrobatic flips and am a world class trampwall performer performing professionally already in front of 50,000+ people regularly. I’ve also done multiple stunts, performing and learning on various disciplines over my lifetime, some of which have even been showcased on this channel. And THEN I spent 3 months building up the specific skill set for this one maneuver to do on their tower. I am not asking to compete at the same level. Just pull one trick off safely that I do believe I have the experience and training necessary to complete. I’m not just some random TH-camr who walks in who’s never done anything before and I very much understand my body, my aerial awareness and what I am or am not capable of.
Again if they don’t want to make an exception to the rule to discourage other creators for doing the same I totally get that. But I do believe I am an exception to the rule for all those reasons.
@@Hingaflips I didn't know any of that, this was the first video I watched of yours.
I thought they would actually let you, because you obviously could dive at a decent level of competence.
And it was not for the competition, but just to dive.
They did that for Magnus Midtboi for the American Ninja warrior, let him run the course unofficially.
How do u forget your swim trunks
Speedo
'If you're going to try, go all the way; otherwise, don't even start. This gonna mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives, jobs and maybe... your mind.'
I think your an awesome human being. And so is ellie. 🫵💪
