The build will require some thatch ceilings, pillars, a couple foundations and walls extra to do the build.
Welcome to another motorboat tutorial. This is a mining boat, for getting back on your feet in the event of a wipe by an offserver Alpha. The base can fit land dinos like ankylo, carno, and fliers like griffon, argent, etc. The boat is outfitted for pvp and will function as a full base in an emergency.

Do not build floating foundation! Is now against rules, build pillars down with a ceiling to defend against leeds.

You should build a rex/meglosaurus/allo transport boat that can both hide and transport those animals

Does it matter if underneath isn't centered? My snap points aren't working like yours

what part do you mean not centered? do you mean the floating foundation

@@Newbie4Hire yes the floating foundation. My pillars have to snap to the middle of the ship fountain where in the vid it looks like somehow your snapping between 2 foundations so I have to pick a side

@@johnackerman1160 it doesn't matter if it is centered, that's just for aesthetics. However more recently than that video they've made the floating foundations against the rules. I've taken to just running 4 pillars down, 1 ceiling, delete the bottom pillar, place 3 turrets. So it ends up taking 7 pieces instead of 6, but it is within the rules. You can still do the floating foundation at your own risk, unless you are in a big tribe that they have their eyes on, you are unlikely to have an issue, but it is something to consider. All my future builds will no longer feature the floating foundation because of this.

@@Newbie4Hire ok thanks I'm on an unofficial pc pve server so I dont think they will mind. I even left out a few things from the vid and just used the bottom and storage, going to try to make it a taming raft as well

So motorboat is only capable of 135 structures and based off your materials list you’re over...?

Motorboat can hold 138 structures. This build uses 138, if there is more than 138 listed in the materials list then I made a mistake in the materials list, I probably counted turrets wrong or walls wrong.

I'm guessing you can you build it the same just on a sail boat if you're too poor for a motor boat if I'm not mistaken?

No, unfortunately the regular raft does not support as many building pieces as the motorboat, so you cannot build this on a regular raft.

You gotta set the turrets on the bottom to wild to kill the whales, that's the reason for the turrets underneath.
