    The radiator was 17 and a 1/2 inches away.
    Fan was even further away
    The fan sounded like a huge hovercraft had started up.

    I have a feeling the Twinnebago is going to be a whole new beast. Also it's crazy to see standing water in SoCal

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im curious to see how it does driving around now and if the fan has to catch the temp still or not. We will see!

    I was beginning to wonder if one fan was enough for my application.. I think that answers that! Thanks for videos Dane! Keep up the good work 👏

    Dang!! That fan is what moves the twinnebago. The engine is there just to cycle it on. 🤣🤣

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  ปีที่แล้ว

      Engine is just to charge the battery for the fan now 🤣

  • @deegan727
    @deegan727 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Don’t worry about that water leak. That fan will cool the engine by itself.😂 Good job. I’m probably going to go with that fan now. Thanks for all these cooling vids.

    If you put one of those fans on the maliboom would it be considered a second power adder?

    I just got the same fan. working on the shroud now. Where'd you get the wiring connector stuff from?

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought it off a company I found from google. I feel like it was not an 8 gauge wire but it cloud just be a small jacket deal. I don't remember the name of the company and the price was a bit more then what I would have liked.

    That fan is impressive ‼️the old dual fan setup doesn't compare to this single , wow .

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The duals are fantastic and will work magic in the Pacer and The Boom but this is just another level of CFM haha

      @philbetthauser9547 ปีที่แล้ว

      @BurnDown most definitely. That was amazing how far away from the fan the grill is and it still held the cardboard up

    Hi sir. Love the video.!I am copying this approach to add into my LS swapped Scout II. Have the fan, and a running LQ9 managed by a terminator X max system. How did you wire the fan in? Was it direct from Holley fan 1 or is there an inline relay or other control module? I’m gonna be running a trinary switch from AC and want make sure I get it all right. Thanks in advance for any and all responses .

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m working on a brushless fan solution for you guys now but the fan itself is wired directly to power and the signal wire comes from the Holley.

    • @peteacosta6124
      @peteacosta6124 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cool. Was hoping to follow suit and do the same. Just wondered if it’s an acceptable permanent solution. Thanks and keep the cool vids comin’!

    Are you going to block off the air gap above the fan to keep the air from moving around the radiator?

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im going to drive it and see if it cools while driving. I think a chin spoiler will be next to help create a low pressure to suck the hot air out. I need to drive it around and see how it does first.

    • @BigRedRocketScience
      @BigRedRocketScience ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Burndown I think XOZ Industries is right to ask. That's another obvious place to try to keep the hot & cold air separate, but this looks like huge progress already!

    can you take a screen shot of the duty cycle vs cts? I'm looking for a decent scale. What's Duty Cycle range 10-95%? I have that fan for my fox body. Wiring it up this week.

    • @Burndown
      @Burndown  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have mine set in the Bego to turn on and off at a set temp and then run the fan hard till the coolant temp goes below shut off. Im going to change the strategy but it all depends on where you want the car to live temp wise and what it will run at driving down the road with the fan off. If your temp is lower then it can stay with the fan off the fan will run all the time. Hit me up on IG and DM me and I can send you pics of the tune if you want.
